Baby Your A Little Early.

I dropped my phone on the bed when I felt fluid coming out. I thought about what just happen and instantly the pain hit.

"Jayyyyyy." I screamed out.

"What you screaming for?" I heard the irritation in his voice but I had something far more serious to handle.

"My water just broke. Get my bag and Xyla's we gotta go to the hospital."

I knew it was getting close to my due date so I already had bags pack weather she was coming here or in Florida.

He gathered our things quickly and helped me out the bed. I only had on some panties and a sports bar. Taking off the wet panties I threw on a pair of his jogging pants and muscle tank top.

In the middle of slipping my shoes on I felt another contraction hit me. It hurt so bad.

After I felt some of the pain go away I walked to the garage and hopped in the passenger seat of his truck.

"Bae ain't it to early?" He asked as we pulled out the drive way. Before I could answer another one hit me I banged my fist into the dashboard trying to focus on something else until the contraction was over.

"Yeah. Ouch you got my phone I need to call my grandma and Tee." I unlocked the phone as fast as I could and called my grandma.

Me- She coming I'm on my way to the hospital.

Granny- I'm on my way. The baby coming 2 months before she even due.

Me- I know granny and it hurt so bad.

I had to put the phone down until the contraction was over.

Granny-it's going to be okay honey I'll see you in about five minutes

Now I needed to call Tee. I know my granny gone call my other grandmother too.

"Teee." I screamed out as she was answering the phone. A contraction came on.

"Wassup boo."

"I'm on my way to the hospital."

"Damn I was sholl about to lay down. Here I come."

I hung the phone up and tossed it in Jay lap we had finally arrived. I walked in and the nurses instantly place me in a room and hooked me up to monitors.

"How far apart are your contractions?" The nurse asked.

"About every 2-4 minutes."

"Since your 4 cilimeters dilated and your water have already burst. I'm going to go talk to your doctor and see what she want to do. Your due date was off by a month so your actually 8 months. I'll be back."

As the nurse was finishing her sentence in walked Tee.

"You picked a fine time to go into labor."

"Girl her ass getting a whooping when she come out. But did you just hear her say I was a whole month ahead tho!"

"Yes that's crazy. I thought that you was doing the water birth?"

"I am. I'm waiting on the doctor to tell me wassup."

The nurse and Dr.Lewis walked in togather. The nurse was pushing a wheel chair.

"Hi Dior! Your grandma called me and told me your ready. So where still having that water birth right?"

"Yes we are." I replied trying to sound happy but the amount of pain I was experiencing wasn't. Dr.Lewis is there for everything. Her and my granny been friends for a long time.

"Baby is full term so there wouldn't be any reason we couldn't unhook you from all these cord and move you down to our room for the water birth." She came over and unhooked a couple cords and checked the baby heart beat.

"So mom and dad are you ready?" The obgyn walked in

"Yeah I'm ready." Jayceon answer quickly causing us to laugh a little.

"So Mom are you okay to walk?"

"Yes I'm okay to walk."

We made our way down the hall to the water room. I took off the jogging pants. I got over in the birthing tub and the water is the perfect temperature.

Labor lasted about seven hours. She was finally here.

Xyla ZaKiya Smith. 6 pounds 5 ounces. Born June 15th.

After getting cleaned up and moved into our room everyone came and visited us.
