"Xyla ZaKiya Smith if I call you again we gon have some damn problems!" I yelled out to my four year old daughter who think it's play time before school.

"Mommy here I come. I was on the ipad." Xyla stated as if I was supposed to wait on her.

"That don't mean ignore me! Put the ipad down and put your rain boots on its time to go."

Doing as she was told Xyla made her way to her closet and pulled out her white rain boots and slid them on. Meanwhile I was getting my things together.

A couple minutes later we were heading out the door. Getting in my white charger we headed towards Xyla school.

"Bye mommy I love you."

"I love you too Pooh. I'll see you later."

Next stop was work. The ride from Xyla school is like 20 mintues so I hooked my iPhone 6s plus up to the auxiliary cord and turned on Real Sisters by Future.

Momentarily I made it into the parking lot and parked in my favorite spot. Opening the back door grabbing my things I realized Xyla left her book bag in the car. I needed to call her dad immediately to take it to her. Popping my trunk I tossed her bag inside.

Walking in I disarmed the security and cut the neon light on in the window that read the name of my business 'Dior's Bridal Growns'. I locked the door behind me and headed to my office. We don't open for another ten minutes.

Deciding to sit in my big comfortable chair behind my desk I called Jayceon.

"Speak."

"That's not how you answer the damn phone." I said putting the phone on speaker and leaning back rolling my eyes. If only he could have seen me.

"Wassup I'm busy?"

"To busy to take Xyla her book bag?"

"Dior you know I'm working why you gotta bother me with petty stuff? You do it!" He stated with irritation in his voice.

"I wouldn't have asked you if I didn't have a client coming in! But fuck it Jay finish doing what ever more important than your child." I hung up the phone before he could say anything.

I knew eventually he would give in. He always do.

While sweeping the shop I heard a knock at the door. My client was here. I unlocked the door and greeted my client.

"Hey Javon. You ready?"

"Yass girl! It's finally my last dress fitting. We leave for Hawaii in two days."

As I was preparing to get her dress out in walked Jayceon.

I meet him halfway towards the door.

"Dior you always calling me at inconvenient times."

"I'm sorry boo boo but she need her book bag." We walked to my office and I leaned down and was grabbing my keys out my purse when I felt Jayceon come up behind me.

"Dior I miss yo ass." He stated turning me towards him and grabbing a hand full of my ass.

"Move Jayceon you don't miss me. Your hands already full with your other seven hoes. They would be mad if they knew you was grabbing my ass." I replied moving out of his grip.

"You always on bull shit with me. Baby mama we gotta make this work." He said half way joking. He know I don't play second to none. I'm over that kids stage in my life letting dudes treat me wrong.

I walked to the door and popped my trunk and went back to taking care of my client.

"Jayceon go give my baby her book bag and you got to show me if you ever want yo old thang."

"Watch my actions." With that he walked out the door.

I had to admit I miss my baby daddy but I refuse to be someone side chick. His girlfriend already think we fucking. If only they knew I already got a man and I don't see myself being with Jayceon again. We make this co-parenting thing work so I would like to keep it like that.
