I arrive at the table and both men stand up. Will hurries around and pulls my chair out for me to sit down.

"Good to see you again Tessa, you look even more beautiful than you did earlier."

Before I get a chance to respond Isaac quickly snaps at his brother.

"Will.... Cut it out. No flirting with our employees."

I see Will roll his eyes and then wink at me as he returns to his seat.

"Miss Simmons.... Nice to meet you."

Isaac reaches his hand over to meet mine where he firmly shakes my hand. I can't help but notice how big his hand is and how warm it feels against my skin.... or maybe that's just me imagining things because I feel like I'm bubbling over just looking at him.

"Nice to meet you too Mr.Jones, please call me Tessa."

"Very well Tessa, have a seat."

He let's my hand go as we both sit down in our seats.

(Bloody hell, I thought Will was handsome but holy mother of God, Isaac is like a Greek god.)

"So let's get straight down to business."

Will grunts beside us.

"My god Isaac, at least let the woman order some food or even better still, a nice stiff drink."

I look to Will as he throws me a cheeky wink.

Isaac throws Will a frustrated glance before turning his attention back to me.

"Tessa would you care for a drink?"

"Oh, no thank you. Water is good."

(Who am I kidding, I'd love a gallon of wine right now to help me deal with the tension between everyone but I'm guessing getting drunk on my first night here might not be the right course of action.)

The waiter arrives at the table and takes our order. Will orders a double whiskey while Isaac sticks to water.

He comes across as a bit of a stiff, very serious and definitely not the partying type or having fun in general type.

"So Tessa, you know you are filling in for my Assistant Hotel Manager who is out on maternity leave for 6 months. She assured me after your video call that you were definitely up to the job in hand."

"Yes, I would definitely like to think so. I do have plenty of experience in this field of work."

"Yes, that's right. On your resume it says you were at your last job as assistant hotel manager for over 3 years, is that correct?"

"Yes that is correct."

"And for what reason exactly did you decide to leave your previous position?"

(Ugh.... Not this dreaded question!)

"I wanted a change. A new challenge to set for myself."

Will chuckles beside me.

"Oh boy, well you have certainly achieved that in taking this job."

"Will.... Zip it. What are you still even doing here anyway? You are not exactly needed."

The tension between the two brothers now is almost palpable.

"You didn't think I would let you have her all to yourself now, did you?!"

"Excuse me?"

I narrow my eyes at the two men who appear to be talking about me like I'm not even here.
