We both turn to see a shocked and half disgusted Mia staring back at us.

"What is going on? Are you guys, like a thing?"

"Em....."

(Fuck.... I don't know what to say. Obviously I want to say yes we are but I don't want to overstep the mark.... What if Isaac doesn't want to officially call us a couple?)

"Mia, yes.....we are."

(Hallelujah..... He finally frigging admits it!)

Isaac's arm slips around my waist while Mia tries her best not to look too shocked as she takes us both in.

"Oh.... How on earth did I not see this? How long has this been going on for?"

"Does it really matter?"

"Okay Isaac, I know you like to keep things private and quiet but I'm sorry, this is a big deal. How many dates have I tried to set you up on and everytime you refused?....."

"Well maybe you should have not interfered in my love life."

"Hmm.... Does anyone else know?"

"No!"

"Yes......"

I feel Isaac and Mia's eyes on me all at once.

"What? Did you tell someone?"

"No, I actually didn't tell anyone but Will saw us last night on the beach. He confronted me this morning about it."

"Right...."

"Wow.... I don't even know what to say. I mean if you guys are happy well then I'm delighted for you both."

"Thanks Mia."

"Right.... Well I think I better go because I'm guessing I know why Isaac came over here and I certainly don't want to witness anymore of that."

"Oh very funny Mia.... It's fine. I can see Tessa tomorrow."

"No, not at all. It was just wedding talk. I have to be going anyway. We'll talk later."

"Oh, okay Mia."

Before Isaac has the chance to protest again Mia disappears out the front door leaving Isaac and I standing awkwardly beside each other.

"Are you going to come in?"

"Oh yes....sorry."

Isaac looks utterly embarrassed and I'm finding it incredibly cute.

We head into the living room and sit down on the sofa.

"So.... Isaac you aren't angry with me, are you?"

"What? Why on earth would I be angry with you?"

"Oh I don't know. I didn't exactly deny that we were together."

"How on earth could you deny something that they clearly saw with their own two eyes?"

Isaac reaches his arm out gesturing me to move closer to him.

"Come here you."

I scoot in closer to him and lay my head against his chest as his arm encircles me.

"I'm done hiding what we have. I never meant for you to think I didn't want my family to know. I guess I was just scared of admitting it in case it didn't work out and I'd have all their damn pity again."

"I understand Isaac, it's always added pressure when your family and friends are involved. I think all we can do is go with the flow, enjoy what we have."
