I can't believe it's been nearly four years since I first stepped foot on this beautiful island.
I never imagined that things would have turned out the way they have done.
Isaac and I have been married 2 and a half years. We have a beautiful girl Cora who is 3 and a little baby boy Jack who is 1.
Mia and Rob have a baby girl Penny, who is nearly 2 so the kids all have a great time together.
Everything between Isaac and I have been pretty much perfect. Obviously we have our silly little quarrels which were mostly when with the babies were very young and we weren't getting much sleep but I think that's only natural.
Thankfully the hotel has been doing great, business has never been better.
Unfortunately Isaac's mother has deteriorated drastically in the last year. Isaac's dad is struggling to look after her at the moment, when she gets confused and forgets everything she has started to become violent with him. Obviously he doesn't want to have to put her in a home but it's getting to the point where he really can't manage on his own, even with us all trying to help.
Isaac and I are getting ready to go out for a meal for the first time in months. The kids are over are with Mia and Rob, they are staying the night so we'll have the night to ourselves for a change.
I finish my hair and makeup and slip on my dress.
I grab my purse and head to the kitchen where Isaac is waiting for me.
"Tessa, wow..... I swear to god you get sexier every day."
"Oh Isaac, you don't need to charm the pants off me, you're going to get laid tonight, don't you worry!"
I wink at Isaac, cheekily as he chuckles lightly.
"You know if you want we could always skip the dinner and head straight to the bedroom?!"
Isaac wraps his arms around my waist as he pulls my body close to mine. I can feel him harden against my thigh.
"As tempting as that is.... and I mean it's incredibly tempting, I haven't been out in ages and we have to eat..... You'll need your energy for later!"
"Mmm, I suppose you're right, yet again."
Isaac's phone starts ringing in his pocket. He takes it out and his face falls a little before he ends the call and places it back in his pocket.
"Is everything okay? I mean did you not need to take that call?"
"No, it's nothing that can't wait!"
(Why do I get the impression that he's hiding something? That's the third phone call today that he ignored. Maybe I'm just being paranoid.)
"So will we go?"
"Yes, definitely."
We make our way out to Isaac's car and start our journey to the restaurant.
We make the most of the silent car journey, normally the car is filled with screaming, crying or singing babies.
It's not long before we pull up at the beautiful restaurant.
We are brought to our table which has a breathtaking view.
"Wow Isaac, it's beautiful here."
"Not as beautiful as you."
The waitress takes our order and brings us some champagne.
I'm just taking my first taste of the champagne when Isaac's phone starts ringing loudly in his pocket.
