I wake up the next morning with a slight headache. I can't really blame the alcohol because we only had one cocktail, maybe it was the late night!

I switch my alarm clock off as it rings in my ears.

I slip out of my bed and drag myself to the shower. After a nice refreshing wash I hop out and dry myself.

I dry my hair and apply a small amount of makeup. I grab one of my work dresses and slip it on as I check my reflection in the mirror.

I make my way into the kitchen and have a quick cereal before filling my travel cup with strong black coffee. I grab my bag and make my way to my office.

When I enter the lobby I don't see Isaac anywhere so I continue on to my office and open the door. I make my way in and get settled at my desk.

I do my list of jobs just as I had done the day before although this time I manage them a little quicker.

It's almost lunchtime when I hear a knock on my office door.

"Come in."

Mia pops her head in and smiles at me.

"Hey Tessa, are you free for a little bit, you have to see this. I have a couple who just got married, you have to see this brides dress, I mean I'm all for showing a little bit of skin but seriously.... This is ridiculous."

I stare back at Mia a little bit surprised.

"Oh..... em I don't think I need to see that!"

"No no, trust me you do. I wouldn't have believed it only I saw it with my own two eyes."

I sigh defeated as I get up off my chair.

"Well, I guess technically it is my lunch break so I could spare a few minutes for you."

"Brilliant.... You won't regret it."

I follow Mia down the corridor until we come to the function room. I can already hear the crowds of people talking and laughing. We stand outside the two main doors and Mia then gestures up towards the top table. The bride is standing up about to get into her seat and I almost gasp when I see her dress. I mean the girl looks gorgeous and she's definitely got the figure for the dress but oh my God I have never seen a wedding dress like it before.

"Is it just me or is that dress crazy?"

"I mean it's definitely different.... It wouldn't be my choice of dress but if she's comfortable in it.... Why not?!"

"I suppose you're right. Maybe that's just the old traditional values of my mother coming out in me. She would have had a cow if she was here to witness that."

I let out a small chuckle.

"Well yeah it's definitely not the most Conservative dress. The room looks amazing though. You done a great job."

"Thank you. They pretty much gave me free reign with it, as long as the colour scheme was lilac they didn't care what way I decorated it."

"Is it normal for you to have a wedding on so early in the week?"

"Not always but the packages are a little cheaper with midweek which attracts alot of people."

The speeches suddenly start, I know I should probably excuse myself but I can't help listening. I have always loved this part of any wedding. The husband starts talking about his new wife in the most romantic and heartwarming way and I can't help thinking back to my wedding day....all those loving words that Troy said to me.... All those lies.

I don't notice my eyes starting to fill up with tears until a tear slips free rolling down my cheek. Mia turns to me with a concerned expression on her face.... It's too late now. I know the wave of tears are going to free themselves, I need to get myself away, and fast.
