Chapter 49

2 weeks later

It's finally the day of Mia and Rob's wedding.

I just about squeezed into the bridesmaid dress. I'm just lucky all I have is a small bump and the dress was quite flowy.

Mia comes out of the room as myself and the bridesmaids wait for her.

I gasp when I see how beautiful she looks in her dress.

"Oh wow.... Mia you are stunning!"

"Awh thank you Tessa.... I'm in love with this dress."

"Wait until my brother sees you he's going to faint."

"Well I sure hope he waits until we have said I do."

Everyone has a glass of champagne.... Except for me, I'm on the orange juice.

"You'll be next Tessa."

I let out a nervous laugh.

"Very funny.... You know you have to be engaged before you get married?"

"Yes I do and I have a feeling that will be happening very soon."

I quickly brush off Mia's comment. Isaac and I haven't exactly talked about marriage. We both know that's what we would like but I'm not going to get my hopes up, if it happens it happens.

"Anyway enough about me.... This is your day and I guess Rob's too."

Mia chuckles.

"Oh honey.....its my day."

"That's what I thought.... Poor Rob, has he any idea what he's letting himself in for."

"Oh he knows and he still wants to marry me. I reckon I have a good one."

"And so does he. Now.... I think it's time we headed to the beach."

"Yes, girls drink up. We need to make a move."

After everyone finishes their drinks before we make our short journey from Mia's house to the beach at the hotel.

The beach looks absolutely stunning but I expected no less when Mia was in charge.

The bridesmaids walk up first. As I reach the top my eyes lock with Isaac as he stares at me lovingly. He looks incredibly hot in his suit.

The ceremony is beautiful and as they say their vows I don't think there's a dry eye in the house.

After the ceremony I make my way straight over to Isaac.

"Well don't you look handsome boss!"

"You're looking pretty damn irresistible yourself."

Isaac's leans down to me and presses a small kiss to my lips.

"There's somewhere I want to bring you later.... After dinner."

"Ooh, you naughty man, are you planning on having your wicked way with me?!"

Isaac smirks as he looks down at me.

"Absolutely."

Isaac grasps my hand and leads me into the hotel. We are just about to make our way into the function room when we spot Diane standing at the reception desk. Both of us look between each other when we see her.

(Seriously? What the fuck is she doing here, of all days she picks Mia's wedding day?)

"Isaac, we should just ignore her, now is not the time to cause a scene.... Think of Mia."

Isaac looks at me as he contemplates my words.

"I get what you're saying but why on earth is she here? This is a private family ocassion."
