I wake up Saturday morning to my alarm ringing in my ears. Luckily I only have a half day in work today.

I hop out of bed and head for a quick shower.

(My head is all over the place this morning. All I can think about is Isaac and our stupid arrangement. My feelings for him have undoubtedly gotten stronger which leaves me in the worst position possible....I know now that no matter what I decide to do, I'm going to get my heart broken after swearing to myself I wouldn't let that happen again.)

When I'm finished my shower I dry myself and pick out an outfit for the day. I dry my hair and put some makeup on before slipping on my dress.

I have a light breakfast before grabbing my bag and leaving my apartment.

I get to my office and start my few jobs.

After a few busy hours I'm getting ready to finish up when there's a loud knock on my door.

"Come in..."

My office door opens and Mia's head pops in.

"Good....you're here. I need your help with something."

I arch my eyebrow at Mia as she closes the door and sits in the chair opposite me.

"What's wrong? You seem flustered?"

"That's putting it mildly, I have a bit of a situation."

"Okay.... That's being vague, care to explain?"

"There's a wedding in the main function room at the moment."

"What let me guess another hideous dress you want me to witness?"

Mia shakes her head at me.

"I wish.... No. It's not so much the bride that's the problem, it's the bridesmaid, and it's nothing to do with her dress!"

"Okay Mia, spit it out. What's up?"

"The bridesmaid is Diane!"

My eyes widen dangerously as I digest Mia's words.

"Diane? As in your Isaac's Diane?"

"Yes.... Trust me she was the last person I was expecting to see. Apparently it's her cousin that's getting married, I didn't recognise the name as it was on her mother's side and we never met any of her mother's family."

"Right..... Does Isaac know she's here?"

"No.... That's the problem. She spotted me outside the room and came running up to me. She asked to see Isaac but I said he was busy."

"You didn't tell him?"

"Jesus no! Tessa, I'm afraid that she will worm her way back into his life."

"Mia unfortunately that's not really your call to make. Surely he's wise enough not to make the same mistake again?"

"I'm not so sure about that. You didn't see how messed up he was after they split. He would have done anything to get back with her and I really believe if she tells him everything he wants to hear.... He might give her another chance."

"God I don't know. There's not really alot you can do about it I mean even if she doesn't talk to him now that's not going to stop her from coming here again."

"This is just shit.... I can't tell him. I don't want to witness this happening. I never want to see him that depressed and down in himself again."

"I understand that Mia but you might be worrying about nothing."

Before Mia has the chance to respond a knock on my office door startles us.

"Em....come in..."

The door opens and Isaac slowly enters, his eyes waver between Mia and I.
