We are all looking at Isaac. Will finally perks up and breaks the silence.

"Well as if by magic you appear, you have sensed people were trying to relax and have some fun!"

Will turns and walks back behind the bar.

"Mia? Can you give us five minutes please? I need to talk to Tessa about something."

Mia looks to me and then up to her brother.

"Fine, I'll be at the bar, try not to bite her head off if at all possible!"

I quickly look down at the table to avoid Isaac's glare. He sits down in front of me and there is a slight pause before he finally speaks.

"Tessa? I wanted to apologise for earlier. I was very unprofessional and I shouldn't have raised my voice at you."

I look up and meet Isaac's eyes. There is a sincere look upon his face and I'm actually a little surprised he came and apologised.

"Oh... Thanks. Well I'm sorry too, I shouldn't have been asking you personal questions, that wasn't very professional of me."

"Well how about we start again? Clean slate."

"Yes, I like the sounds of that."

"Ok good. Well I'll let you get back to your night."

"Why don't you join us for a drink?"

(Christ why did I ask him that?!)

Isaac looks almost as surprised about me asking that question as I am myself right now.

"Oh.... Em no thank you. I have some paperwork I need to do."

He steps up from the chair and Mia comes back over to the table.

"You all finished here?"

"Yes. See you both later."

"Oh wait Isaac?"

Isaac turns back around to look at his sister.

"What is it Mia?"

"I was just wondering what the story was for Saturday night, for mom and dad's anniversary?"

I look away, feeling a little uncomfortable as they discuss their parents. I certainly don't want Isaac thinking that I'm eavesdropping.

"Can't this wait?"

"Not really. I want to know are we going to have a party or not? Dad really wants to, he think it's would be a good thing for mom......There's things we need to organise you know?"

"Fine, if dad thinks it's a good idea then we'll do it. I'll talk to you tomorrow about the food and the rest of it."

"Great ok. See you then."

Isaac disappears out of the bar. Mia sits down across from me again.

"You should come too!"

I look to Mia puzzled.

"What?"

"To our parents anniversary party on Saturday night. Imagine they are going to be 50 years married."

"Wow, that's some achievement. I don't think it's such a good idea that I come. I mean surely it's just family?!"

"Don't be daft, it's going to be here in the small function room so some of the staff who were here when my parents ran it will be here too."

Will walks over to our table and sits down between the two of us.

"Tell her Will."

"What's this?"
