Chapter 56

The next day Isaac and I are getting ready to go to Will's for dinner. Mia and Rob are bringing the kids with them so we'll meet them there.

It was lovely to have lie in and not have to get up with the kids early. I'd say Mia and Rob will be exhausted today.

I'm picking out my clothes when Isaac's phone starts ringing. He looks at me and then glances to the phone.

"Is it her again?"

"Yes."

"Answer it. I'm not going to go on like this. You need to find out what the hell she wants so she can be told to fu*k off."

"Are you sure? What if she wants to meet?"

"Well then that's what you'll do. I'm not afraid of her Isaac. So if you don't meet her and tell her to fu*k off then I certainly will."

Isaac nods and hesitantly puts the phone up to his ear. The conversation is short and brief and I'm on edge waiting for him to end the call so I can find out what the hell she wanted.

When he ends the phone call he turns to face me.

"Well?"

"She wants to meet me now. She said she has something important she has to tell me but she wasn't going to tell me over the phone."

"No, of course she wasn't."

"I don't have to do this. We can just continue to ignore her."

"No Isaac, it needs to be addressed and she needs to get the message once and for all."

"Well..... Do you want to come as well?"

"Do you really think she'll say anything if I'm there with you? I trust you Isaac. But you need to promise me that you'll get the message across to her.....loud and clear, no matter how nasty you have to be."

"I will..... But the only problem is, she wants to meet right now. At the hotel. We were supposed to be going to Will's."

"Well you just drop me off at Will's and then meet her and come back to us after."

"I don't know Tessa. I don't like the sounds of this at all. I don't see what good can come from this?"

"Well her being out of our lives for good is my main priority so you need to set her straight. She won't stop until you talk to her."

"Fine. Get dressed, we better get going."

Isaac leaves the room. As much as I don't want her anywhere near Isaac ever again I certainly can't go on like this, her calling everyday and worried she might turn up on our doorstep at any minute.

I slip on one of my casual summer dresses.

We both make our way out to the car and start our short journey to Will's house.

When we pull up outside Will's house Isaac turns to me.

"Are you sure about this?"

"Yes. Just make sure she gets the message otherwise I won't be responsible for I will do her if I get my hands on her."

Isaac smiles as he leans in and presses a firm but gentle kiss on my lips.

"I love you Tessa."

"I love you too. Now go show that bit*h who's boss!"

Isaac chuckles as I slide out of the car.

I close the door and wave him off. I can't help feel a little uneasy about it all but I do trust him with my life so I don't think I need to worry about anything.
