Rieka awoke the next morning to the delicious smell of coffee and breakfast. Pierce was dressed and mixing together some coffee into a cup on a tray filled with fruits, croissants, mini quiches, and steaming hot cinnamon rolls.

"Good morning Little Wolf," Pierce said with a smile as he brought the tray over to her and set it on the bed before climbing in next to her.

"Good morning Pierce," Rieka leaned in and gave Pierce a kiss, "You didn't have to bring me breakfast!"

"Of course I did! My alpha deserves the best. Including a delicious breakfast in bed." Pierce replied offering Rieka a strawberry. She opened her mouth and took a bite and some juice dripped on her chin, which Pierce instantly wiped away gently with his finger.

The both looked at each other silently for a moment before chuckling awkwardly. Pierce grabbed the coffee cup, "Caramel Hazelnut macchiato. I believe it is your coffee of choice correct?"  Rieka's eyes lit up as she took the cup and took a sip. A small moan escaped her lips, "This is divine! This is the best macchiato I've ever had!"

"We co-own a coffee farm and grow multiple types of coffee beans then have them imported. Our palaces get the best of the crops." Pierce smiled before his eyes grew dark, "But I can think of more fun ways to make you moan like that."

A blush creeped over Rieka as warmth pooled in her core as flashes of their activities last night crossed her mind.

Pierce smirked and took a bite of a croissant, "I never thought you could blush like that."

Rieka giggled and put her hand over her face, "I'm sorry! It's just ... been awhile since I've had someone.. special.. in my life. I might be a little out of practice."

"If last night was you 'out of practice', I can't imagine how good you'll feel when you're at your peak." Pierce's eyes darkened with lust and Rieka absent mindedly licked her lips thinking about a repeat of the night before.

"I wouldn't look at me like that Little Wolf, I might not be able to keep myself from ravishing you all over again." Pierce growled, his voice husky with want.

Rieka smirked flirtatiously, "Who says you can't?"

That was all the invitation Pierce needed to throw off his clothes, move the tray off the bed and make love to every inch of Rieka all over again as she moaned and writhed in pleasure.

When they were finished, they both took a minute to actually eat the food, even though everything was cold now, and then take a shower. Pierce lovingly washed Rieka's body, massaging her back and shoulders as he lathered her to help keep her muscles relaxed. He watched the water cascade over her curves and started to grow hard just thinking of taking her in the shower. He refrained though, because he knew that Rieka was still recovering in many ways and he didn't want to hurt her recovery.

Once they were dressed, Pierce broke the news of Dylan's escape and the death of Savannah to Rieka. She sat there silently, biting her lip as she processed the news.  Pierce stroked her back, "What are you thinking, Little Wolf? You can talk to me about anything."

Rieka turned to Pierce with tears in her eyes, "I can't imagine the pain for him. To lose the love of his life like that. To watch her die after all the pain he's suffered already..." A single tear escaped to trail down her cheek, "It's unfortunate. I'm sure it won't be the last we see of him though, but for now, we need to focus on the bigger issues."

Pierce nodded in understanding and wiped the tear from her face before kissing her forehead lightly, "I have someone coming around dinner time to discuss security measures for the estate. I would love for you to be there."
