Pierce and Rieka left the packhouse and got into Rieka's black charger.  Rieka pulled out her cell and called the precinct.

"Trudeaux  speaking." Came the captain's gruff voice over the speaker.

"Captain! It's Rieka. I'm glad I caught you before you left. I've got some major updates on the sailing club murders. I'm on my way now, and I'm bringing an inside informant with me who has information for us."

"Really? Great. I'll hang around then. See you shortly."

After hanging up, Pierce looked at Rieka, "I've texted Georgia. She will have the file ready with all the DNA results ready to go for you, and will meet you in the Captain's office when we arrive."

Rieka nodded then sped towards the precinct.

Upon arrival, they got out of the car and waltzed right into the hustle and bustle and headed straight for the captain's office. Georgia was waiting for them when they arrived.

"We'll follow your lead Ri." Georgia said as they all took a deep breath before knocking on the captain's door.

"Come in!"

Rieka, Pierce and Georgia all came in and sat down while the Captain closed the door to the office.

"Okay Stephens, you called the meeting. What do you have for me."

Rieka motioned to Pierce, "This is Pierce. He is the head of security for a club in town called Club
Crimson. It was the one place outside of their work at the sailing club that both of our original murder victims had in common. As part of my investigation, I spoke with Pierce about the times that the victims Daniel Wong and Jeremy Smithton visited the club. After reviewing the footage, we determined another connection- Brittany. The secretary."

Captain Trudeaux exhaled sharply, "I'm not going to like where this is going am I?"

Rieka shook her head, "Probably not. Brittany admitted that they all went the first time to celebrate Daniel Wong's hiring, which is confirmed on the security tapes at the club. This is where Pierce has been invaluable. Once he realized who we were looking for, Pierce recognized Brittany as someone that consistently was taking private meetings with the club owner Catlia- very off the books and was often ushered into the back door of the club to avoid being seen."

Pierce jumped in, "I was never sure what the meetings were about. Ms. Catlia was a very private person in many ways, but I did think it was odd."

"With this new piece of information, I had a hunch," Rieka continued, "So I re-watched all the security footage from the night in question at the sailing club when I noticed this." Rieka pulled still shots of the footage to show the appearance of the clipboard that magically appeared with Brittany coming into work, "Brittany would've had access to the office and the clipboard anyway so seeing her fingerprints on it wouldn't have drawn suspicion. She would also have known where all the security cameras were to enable others to avoid them."

The Captain held up his hand to pause Rieka, "Others? What do you mean?"

Rieka motioned for Georgia to give the captain the DNA results, "We found blonde hairs at the scene, and we also found blonde hair at the murder up in the mountains. We ran DNA tests on it and we found that the hairs were from two people- a mother and a daughter. Knowing what I found out about the clipboard, I took a hair from Johnson's jacket, knowing it was Brittany's, and ran it against the hair we found at both crime scenes. It was an exact match for the murder in the mountains, and a partial to the sailing club. Which means her mother was the one doing the killing during the first one. We still aren't sure why they were committed, and what they needed the boat for, but we know who did it. The boat isn't impossible to drive solo, but there needed to be a look out and at least two people to drag Daniel Wong's body into the boat and toss him overboard. So we're looking at a minimum of 3 people, possibly four."
