Chapter 19: Drugged🎀

(OMGGGGGGGGG I haven't updated in ages yall! I am SOOO sorry, I have a good excuse though. Drum roll please!!!!! I finally got Disney plus, I know I know...everyone has Disney plus but, I was really exited so I spent most of the time watching TV and eating goldfish and Caprisun. Not really a good excuse but I am a couch potato so don't blame me besties.)

"Did  you hear that?" Lola said.

Alma nodded and smirked. "I saw this coming, That little girl can't keep her mouth shut to save her own life" Lola  Hissed. "That's my granddaughter!" Alma snapped.

 Lola Backed away and got down from the roof awkwardly. Alma got out a piece of paper and started writing.

We have to drug them tonight. Those brats are going to rat us out

She handed lola the potion and she stuffed it in her pocket. Lola nodded and walked to the kitchen. "Julieta! Uhm...can I help cook" lola said awkwardly 

Juliet a nodded and put on a warm smile. "You know mija, you make a perfect match for my Camilo" Pèpa interrupted. She sprinkled some flour on some of julieta's dough mix. 

"Uh he is not my type...I consider him more of my brother" Lola replied in a disgusted tone. "Well that's ok Lola" Pepa said starting to form a slight cloud.

The rain drizzled over the dough making in wet again. "If you may excuse me, I'm going to hang out with the person who actually loves my children" and she Left. Julieta rolled her eyes at her sister.

 "Sorry about her, she just wants to find someone for Camilo, he has been pretty lonely lately"

"Lonely? Camilo has a girlfriend her name is Maria" Lola said calmly. They heard lightning striking at the entrance of the kitchen. "Camilo has a what?"

"Well y-" 

"And he didn't tell his mommy!" Then a bright rainbow formed above her head and sunlight from the window nearly blinded Lola and Julieta.

 "I need to go find him now!!!! She has to come to dinner, her and y/n could bond, they both will be joining our family soon!"and she left. "Enough of her...do you mind adding some flour to the dough she ruined" Julieta instructed.

"Make sure to make it nice enough, it is the main meal of the night" lola nodded. She knew everyone would taste some of the main meal.

"Sure" she smiled and got the bag of flour out. She sprinkled some flour on the dough and kneaded it. Then Lola got out the potion from her pocket and dropped a lot of it in. She kneaded it perfectly until it was the right consistency.

"Put some of these in them and pop it in the oven" Julieta instructed precisely. Lola Did as told and made the carimanola's we're finished.

It had a normal taste but with a hint of saltiness. It was fine. 

*Time skip*

Dinner started and everyone was seated. "Everyone I have an announcement to make" you said before anyone started to eat. "Wait hija! I want to say something first" pepa interrupted while rubbing your back.

Abuela sighed in relief and switched out her drugged  carimanola for a real one. She started to eat and Bruno was going to follow after her. He had his food in hand and opened his mouth wide. "NO!" Dolores yelled out.

 "She means let's wait for tia pepa to talk first before we eat" you interrupted. "Well...my camilito has a girlfriend" Camilo nearly choked on his drink. "What! Camilo you didn't tell us this" Felix smiled.

"He told no one actually" pepa chuckled. "Y/n" Camilo grumbled while Felix was ruffling his hair. "Why doesn't she come to dinner next week?" Julieta insisted. 

" I swear I didn't say anything! It was Lola or should I say-" "you told y/n but not us" pepa scolded. "Mami" he whined.

"What was it you wanted to tell us y/n" Camilo said changing the subject. Lola rolled her eyes. "Lola and abuela are going to drug us and Lola is mariano's cousin but senora guzman used the candle to turn into her so she can trick us"

You said all in one breath. The room was silent for a while. Dolores and Mirabeau looked nervously at the awkward silence.

It stayed like that for a while.

Everyone bursted out laughing completely ignoring what you had said. Felix chuckled  and patted your back. "I know you don't like the Guzman's but that is a whole 'nother level hija" 

"Let's eat" abuela shouted. You couldn't help but feel defeated. Not knowing the food was already drugged everyone took a bite except for you and mirabel. You weren't in the mood for food nor was she. Both of you had a similar personality.

You soon saw everyone's eyes turn a bright red and glowed. They had been drugged already. Your eyes literally popped out of your eyes. Everyone's eyes were a shade of red. Even Dolores was drugged. The house started to glow too. 

They soon turned back to normal. 

"Dolores I am so happy you are going to get re married with Mariano" pepa said excitedly. "Mira what is going on" seeing her eyes were normal looking. "They drugged them already" she said still shocked herself.

"They still know you but it will be like it was before...when you were not with dol" she said soon after.  You started to cry and ran to Dolores' room. Her room was like it was before, without your stuff. 

Casita's mind blanked too. You sobbed a little before leaving her room. You went to mirabels room which had all your stuff. "Maybe this is for the best" you whispered into the air.
