"You will meet with my mother and father before we begin anything. I would prefer that we don't hold a ceremony, but my mother may insist. You will live in my apartment and bare my children," Mr. Kujo explained.
I sat in silence as he listed each little thing, my hair dripping onto my towel (I'd been drying it as he spoke, but my arms grew too tired to continue).
"Mr. Kujo," I began. "Will we continue with the wedding even if your mother and father don't give us their blessing?" I asked shyly, hoping it wasn't a stupid question to ask.
"That's not a matter we need to worry about. They'll give us their blessing."
~Two days later | Kujo Mansion~
Mr. Kujo picked me up at my house without any warning that morning, and I was forced to dress within two minutes before joining him in the car. As we drove to his family home, I fixed my hair frantically in the mirror with a frown. He could have told me when he was coming...
Once we arrived, I saw two people standing by the entrance: A small blond-haired woman and a taller black-haired gentleman. Mr. Kujo looked just like the man; anyone could see that he was Mr. Kujo's father.
"By the way, Y/n," Mr. Kujo suddenly said, knocking me out of my daze. "You shouldn't call me Mr. Kujo from now on."
"Huh? Then what should I call you?" I asked. "Kujo?"
"No, call me Jotaro," He spoke. I looked at him with wide eyes.
"Sir, I can't do that," I confessed. "You're the most important person in the foundation. How could I call you by your first name?"
"That's no longer who I am to you. I'm your husband-to-be. You'll call me Jotaro," He demanded. I shut my mouth tightly and nodded, looking back at his parents worriedly.
As we exited the car, his mother excitedly skipped up to me with a large smile on her face. "Are you Y/n?!" She asked, her hands taking mine and squeezing them tightly. "I was so worried Jotaro would never find someone, but here you are!"
I was silent out of complete shock. Who knew the mother of the scariest person I knew would be this kind?
"N-Nice to meet you, Mrs. Kujo. I'm Y/n L/n," I greeted, bowing my head slightly with a small smile. I was relieved.
Suddenly, I felt Mr. Kujo's hand settle on my shoulder, causing me to jump in surprise. "We won't be here for long. We only have one thing to discuss," He said.
"Aw! I want you guys to stay for a while!" Mrs. Kujo whined. "I haven't seen you in years, Jotaro! And now you've brought a beautiful woman home with you! You have to stay!"
Mr. Kujo, Mr. Kujo's father, walked over to us with a small, friendly smile on his face, an odd thing to see from features nearly identical to Mr. Kujo's. "Y/n, it's nice to meet you!" He greeted. "Why don't we go inside?"
Mr. Kujo and Mr. Kujo... That won't do. Mr. Kujo and Jotaro walked ahead as Mrs. Kujo pulled me aside.
"Y/n," She whispered. "If Jotaro's forcing you to marry him, you can tell me, okay?" She looked quite concerned that that might've been the case, but I shook my head quickly.
"J-Jotaro and I... At least I know I love him," I assured with a smile. "He isn't forcing me into anything."
She returned the smile and finally let go of my hands before skipping toward her husband and son happily. As I watched them, still standing by the car, I couldn't help but feel happy too.
