Will Jotaro really try something? I asked myself as I exited Mrs. Matsuda's room.

It worried me enough that I didn't even see Yuuji walking toward me. I nearly ran into him, but he thankfully called me back to reality before that could happen.

"Y/n, are you alright?" He asked worriedly, leaning down until our eyes were on the same level.

     I nodded. "Yeah, I'm fine. I just..."

"Butterflies for tomorrow maybe?" He suggested, giving a small, reassuring smile.

     "I guess so. I mean, it's a big day," I mumbled.

The usual sensation I felt while standing beside Yuuji was oddly not present then, and my noticing it made me feel uneasy. Yuuji always had a flowery aroma, like a playful puppy in a meadow of the brightest rudbeckias. "Yuuji."

But I remembered this unfamiliar scent from an unpleasant place. I remembered it from... that night.

"Hmm?" He hummed, examining my soft, hesitant expression.

"That night," I began, wondering if I should've just brushed it off. I began to feel a bit anxious, but it could've been anything. It could've just been butterflies interfering with my senses.

But... I needed to be sure.

"That night, did Mr. Tsukishima threaten you?" I asked, looking into his sparkling orbs as his pupils slowly constricted.

He nodded, looking to the side with furrowed brows. "That bastard threatened to do harm to my sister."

I watched as he straightened, his sour scent striking my aching heart with guilt. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to bring it up again. I just-"

"No," He sighed, returning his eyes to me. "You were hurt because of me." He gritted his teeth and clenched his fists tightly. "I'm a coward, Y/n. I could've protected her instead of harming you, but I..." His voice trailed off as he brought his hand to his head and covered his eyes. "Yet you've forgiven me so easily."

I reached toward him, shaking my head as I saw a small tear slip down his pale cheek.

"Yuuji, don't think that way," I soothed, placing my hand on his trembling shoulder. "You protected your sister and did such a dangerous thing. Who cares what happened to me? You did what you thought was best."

I saw his bloodshot eyes peak through his fingers as I gazed at him pitifully.

"Please don't put yourself down like that."

"Then, you must do the same," I smiled.

He lowered his hands hesitantly, his damp cheeks a light tint of pink. His eyes were shining as the bright light in the hallway shone into them, and I found a sense of relief in them. They were surprisingly soft. Surprisingly beautiful.

"Y/n, you're a wonderful person," He sniffed, lowering this gaze to the ground with a small smile. "Such a wonderful person..."

I giggled. "Yuuji, you should look at how wonderful you are yourself. Rather than me, look at how kind and funny you are," I cooed, reaching my hand out and patting his soft blond locks gently.

"Kind and funny?" He repeated quietly, a soft whisper only I could hear.

"Of course!" I exclaimed. "And considerate, and friendly, and easy-going! Yuuji, you're more wonderful than I could ever be!"

He looked at me then, his bright eyes filled with something new. No longer sorrow. Yuuji was happy.
