Chapter 44- Magic

     "Would you like to try that dress on, Little Miss?" She asked, following my eyes to the beautiful dress curiously. "Wouldn't you like to look around a bit more?"

     I shook my head confidently. "No, look at it. It's wonderful. I can't imagine anything better than that, and..." I looked down at the ground as a small blush came to my cheeks. "It reminds me of gentle waters, just like Jotaro."

     I looked at her once again to see wide eyes. Not only hers but of the shopkeeper who stood beside her as well. I laughed in embarrassment. 

     "Sorry, that was a bit much, I suppose," I rubbed the back of my head nervously as they continued to stare.

     "It's alright, Miss," The shopkeeper smiled warmly, her eyes closed in a polite manner. "We've been told to have the dress perfectly fitted to your form, so after you try it on, we'll have you measured. Is that alright, Miss?"

     I nodded slowly, wondering if Jotaro had personally made these requests. I doubted it, for he was an extremely busy man.

     "Did you see the dress?" I asked Jotaro excitedly as he took off his shoes. He nodded.

     "You made a good choice," He complimented.

     "What will you wear?" I asked as he walked past me toward the bedroom.

     "A suit."

     "What color?"

     He looked at me suddenly with a small smile. "White. Are you excited for this weekend?"

     He didn't need my answer, but I nodded regardless. I was very excited. What girl hadn't dreamed of their wedding? What girl wouldn't fantasize about such a magical night?

     "Jotaro," I began, following him around the bedroom as he stripped himself of different garments. "Tonight, can I spoon you?"

     He quirked a brow as he began to unbutton his shirt. "Spoon me?"

     I nodded. "Like, you know," I insisted, curving my body and wrapping my arms around an invisible Jotaro in enactment. "Can I spoon you while we sleep?"

     He stared in silent confusion for a few more seconds, his hands frozen on a button before I sighed.

     "I'll show you. Come to the bed." I took hold of his wrist with determination to get what I wanted.

     He obliged, letting me lead him by hand to our fluffy sleeping place. I crawled toward my side of the bed and laid on my side with open arms and a bright smile.

     "Now, you lay down right here with your back facing me," I instructed, patting the comforter in front of me.

     He didn't hesitate to listen, plopping down just as I'd said with a quiet huff. The bed bounced as he did so, and I couldn't help but giggle.

     His head rested on my left arm, and I moved to wrap my other arm around him but quickly stopped when I realized my mistake. Jotaro... was huge.

     "Ah..." I grumbled in frustration.

     "What is it?" He asked turning his head slightly to show he was listening. "Is my head too heavy?"

     "Well... no, it's not," I mumbled. "I've changed my mind," I announced in disappointment.

     Jotaro suddenly turned around. His head still rested on my arm as he looked up at me.

     "You don't want to spoon me anymore?" He asked with a small smile. Anyone could see the teasing look in his eyes, but my mind was too blocked by disappointment to notice.

     "It's not that. It's just... you're way too big. I don't know why I forgot," I pouted.

     "Well," He sighed. "It's fine. I prefer facing you to the wall."

     He gently placed his hand on my stomach, looking down as he caressed the area.

     "Both of you."
