"Y/n!" Yuuji nearly screamed when he saw me as he entered the room I'd been seated in. "You look gorgeous!"

I blushed, my cheeks quite pink to match his own. Jotaro would probably have killed both of us for having such a reaction, but it was simply unstoppable. Complements caused me to blush, not Yuuji. Though I'd have had a hard time explaining such a thing to the wall I was marrying.

Ah, that's right. Right then, I was in a private room where I'd greet the guests without moving an inch from my personal chair. Pretty nice, huh?

     Not at all.

They were treating me like a newborn baby that day, rather than simply a child. I couldn't go anywhere, couldn't greet too many guests... I was forbidden to walk.

But it was quite refreshing seeing all the faces I'd missed so much. Hearing the voices I hadn't heard in how long? That part was my favorite, for sure.

However, as the time for... you know... came nearer and nearer, I began to feel quite sick and tired. Not of greeting guests. No, of course not. Physically. I mean, my eyes were heavy, and my stomach was in a good amount of pain.

And as I fought the urge to take a break, a horrible thought suddenly came to mind.

"Mama," I whispered to her, who had been standing right beside me for the majority of the time. She leaned closer to me, already as worried as I. "I'm feeling a bit-"

"Oh, dear, should I close the door for a bit?" She panicked, looking from the incoming guests, to the door, and to me as she bit her lip.

"No, I just... I wonder how it'll be when the time comes for me to walk down the aisle," I admitted, feeling my nervousness reach its limit as my stomach began to growl once again. And it wasn't a growl of hunger.

"Ah," Mama smiled, as though she knew exactly what would happen. I would love it if she'd enlightened me on the reason for her smile, but she did no such thing.

The next few guests entered the room, and I sighed, wondering if the wedding would fail completely after all.

Traditionally, the bride walked down the aisle with her father, but... it was apparent that neither parent of mine would be attending the wedding. Who knew their reasons, but... it didn't matter then. What was I to do? Walk down alone? With so many eyes on me?

I was so greatly afraid for when that time was to come.

And all too soon, the time had come.
