"Huh?!?!" Sasaki nearly screamed. Everyone around us seemed to do the exact same thing. Jotaro and I looked around in confusion but only got other looks of confusion in return.
"L-L-L-L/n is... pregnant?!?!?!" One person yelled.
"Our angel?!" Another cried out.
Everyone erupted in confusion and disbelief while we sat there silently.
"Y-Y/n-Chan? When...?" Sasaki asked, a tear slipping down her cheek. "I can't believe this..."
I stood up, now panicked from the situation. "Sasaki, don't cry! W-We don't know for sure that I'm gonna be pregnant yet!" I assured. She looked at me pitifully.
"I can't believe it. With that awful Alpha!" She cried, pulling me toward her and burying her face in my stomach.
A wave of gasps seemed to silence the panicked voices around me.
"That means," A voice began, sounding distraught. "The man that did this to L/n... was Mr. Kujo?"
Everyone turned their attention toward him, their eyes shooting daggers in his direction. I'd never seen so much hostility pointed at one person. It made me sick.
"That's enough!" I yelled, my agitation taking over. I lightly pushed Sasaki away from me before walking toward Jotaro. "Please. That's enough. Mr. Kujo and I... He didn't do anything to me, so you don't have to get upset or anything," I explained. "W-We're getting married soon, so-"
"Y/n," Jotaro interrupted, his voice quiet so only I could hear him. "You don't have to explain anything."
He looked out into the crowd, his expression showing that of anger once again. "Work hours have already begun!" He announced. "All of you should get to work, and if I hear a single word about this being discussed, I don't intend on letting it go!"
Everyone scurried away. Even Sasaki hurried toward her desk, giving me a worried look as she left. I didn't move. I knew the words he'd said didn't apply to me.
"Y/n," He sighed. "If anyone ever gives you any trouble, jus-"
"I've got it under control, Jotaro," I quietly said before sitting at my desk silently. He didnt say another word and left.
No one dared to cross paths with me that day. Sasaki was no exception. Her emotions must have been everywhere. I'm sure she felt guilt, fright, worry, and even anger. I wanted everything to go back to the way it was.
At the end of the day, as I packed the little things I'd needed to take home, Yuuji suddenly approached me.
"Hey, Y/n-San!" He exclaimed. I smiled, glad to see someone was acting normally.
"Yuuji! I'm sorry about this morning!" I apologized, bowing slightly out of guilt. "It was because of what happened at the Christmas party that you got scolded like that."
He shook his hands with a bright smile. "No, no. Don't think like that. He's just a jackass," He assured. I laughed.
"I guess so."
"By the way, Y/n-San..." He seemed to hesitate as he spoke like he was entering a sensitive area. I knew exactly what he was going to say. "I heard about what happened this morning, and-"
"Ah, I'm sorry about that too. You must be uncomfortable around me now," I interrupted, lowering my gaze in shame.
"No! Actually, I wanted to say, congratulations. On your wedding. And child. And... um... mating." He scratched his neck nervously. "I heard it was a very important thing for Omegas when they make a bond, so I wanted to say that... just in case."
I couldn't help but laugh at his nervousness. It almost made me feel at ease. "Thank you, Yuuji." My smile was large and... real. It was a smile of pure happiness. "Thank you."
