"You must be ecstatic" Kara glanced at klaus. "And pray tell why am I ecstatic?" She asked dryly
Klaus snickered "I know what you did, while your little witch is away you're using Cassandra to create moonlight rings, the very ring our mother created a thousand years ago for her secret lover."
Kara raised a brow not seeing the problem "And? It's a good thing, having the wolves together protects my unborn child. Besides I've always had a soft spot for damaged things" she shot him a wry smile "Look at you I keep you around don't I?"
Klaus sniffed mocking offense and poured the two of them a drink "Well I believe it's cause for celebration, there is once more peace in quarter."
Kara rolled her eyes but took the drink "I don't think you expect it to stay that way do you?" She asked with a smile "This treaty is just a piece of paper. We have enemies Niklaus.." she paused "The witches are plotting, the humans will look for more, the vampires left are most likely spies for the exiled son across the River." She sipped her drink "This paper means nothing, it just means that these people are trying to catch me off guard. I may have offered it but I know it will never last not as long as there are so many players on the board."
Klaus sighed amused "You've always kept your mind silent, yet it's seems that this past month — you've not only been sleeping with the enemy." He paused "Not when you clearly love Hayley."
Kara didn't deny it instead she simply stared at her drink "Everything I do is for my daughter. I wish to know and fight our enemies if it's from the shadows then so be it. But I think Elijah might truly believe that flimsy piece of paper"
"Soon our brothers naivety will be rectified and he'll come to see how truly fractured this city is."
Kara nodded "A century ago, it was better, it was whole but your adopted son took what we built and turned it into this false Kingdom." She sighed tiredly "It's almost amusing how much he's mucked it all up."
"I'll drink to that" mutters Klaus

"The festival this evening, I expect all the factions to attend and offer the gifts to the harvest girls"
Kara smirked "Are you ordering me to deliver messages Cassandra? Oh how bold you've gotten" she commented.
Cassandra slowly dressed herself "Don't think I'm one of those bimbos you've slept with Kara. I know you and I know you don't believe in this peace treaty." She scoffed derisively
Kara chuckled "What gave it away?"
Cassandra slipped on her pants "When you gave me a spell from your mothers grimoire, a very complicated spell." She said with a frown "These rings will tilt the balance."
Kara shook her head "Oh no, you're wrong love. It'll even the scales, witches have their magic, vampires their strength, hybrids have the ability to turn at will." She paused "The werewolves doesn't have anything, they're wild uncontrollable. These rings will work as a leash. You will create the bridge between the two species and I'll be the one who's offered it. No one would dare touch you or the witches when you've got two factions behind you.".
Cassandra hummed and threw her leg over Kara, she pressed their lips together in a soft kiss "And that's all?"
Kara hummed into the kiss keeping it short "With the little incentive that the wolves will be loyal to me meaning they'll be loyal to my daughter.." she explained "A win— win for everyone Well beside the vampires but that's hardly the point"
