"Al do you really have to go?" My younger sister Nova pouted.

"Yes Nova, I will be back later and I'll come back with food okay? Make sure Malik doesn't bring anyone in the house alright?"

"Fine and okay" she pouted.

Chucking I kiss her in between her brows and turned toward the door and left making sure it's locked in the process.

Bissa❤️ is calling...

"Hello girly ya' on ya' way ta' work?" My best friend of 7 years asked.

"You know it I'm about to catch the bus as we speak" i reply while carefully moving down the steps.

"Now you know I gotchu girl I'll come and pick ya' up just stay in front of the gates yah?"

"Okay B I'll see you when you get here"

"Right, bye love!"

"Bye bye" and with that we hung up.

Standing in front of my apartments gate I use my phone as a distraction while I wait for Bissa to get here.

"Hey luh mama" I hear from the side of me.

Ignore them Alheri.

"Aye girl I know you hear me" it spoke again.

Looking down at her message I reach in my bag and grab my headphones to block out the thing next to me.

A couple minutes later my arm is pulled and I'm thrown on the ground.

"I know damn well you heard my boy trying to holla at you" some dark skin glared at me.

"And I was obviously ignoring him for a reason please leave me be." I said simply and stood up dusting myself off.

"You outta be lucky he's even giving your big ass attention" a light skin sneered.

Rolling my eyes I squat down to pick up my headphones and now cracked phone.
Great.

Sighing I move down a little and the 4 men follow. Of course.

"Please go away before I call the cops"

They all laughed before pushing me into the gate.

"Either way he'll get what he wants" the light skinned smiled sickly.

Just then I heard the screeching of tires and a red suv stopped 2 inches away from the guys butts.

"Fucking crazy bitch!" The dark skin yelled while slamming his hands on the hood, while they where yelling at the front of Bissa's car like idiots I slipped from the side and got into the passenger seat.

"Thank you so much B" I sigh as I put my seat belt on.

"Don't mention it, now it's time for me to run over these things" she smiles while doing that horrible witch laugh.

"Oh come on B just leave it alone they aren't worth going to jail for"

She looked at me like I was crazy and proceeded to step on the gas and smashing 3 of the men into the gates.

"Oh my god, you're crazy" I laugh as she backs up.

7:34 A.m (happiness with pets)

"Mrs. Smith how are you this morning?" Mikey asks as I walk into the vet.

"I'm doing fine, you?" I lie.

See...mikey is a good person and all but he's just not for me, he has 7 kids and 9 baby mommas how is that possible? I have no idea.

Anywho he's a tall light skin good teeth & he gets paid well because his auntie owns the place and she shows favoritism even tho he doesn't do jack shit.

He's been flirting with me for the past 2 years and every time he asked me to go on a date my answer was obviously no.

"Hello Alheri you listening?" He says while waving his skinny fingers in my face.

"Sorry no I was just thinking about how I'm going to turn you down this time" I reply truthfully.

"You know you should be grateful I'm giving all my attention to you do you know how many females would love to go out on a date with me?" He simi yells.

"And I'm not one of them so please be on your way, I really don't wanna be the next baby momma especially not the tenth" I chuckle.

"You fat bi-" smack.

"Yes I am thick, fat? No not that there is a difference i'd advise you to learn them anywho please mr. Manoore fuck off"

His face was tomato red as he walked away, probably going to snitch to his auntie.

2:46 - 7 hours later (happiness with pets)

Just 2 more hours Alheri you got this.

I try to reassure myself.

Looking up at the entrance in comes a tall white male pulling two leashes in behind him one red and one black.

He fully walked in while pulling in 2 Dobermans one was albino and the other was black and brown. He had on a black suit with a red tie and black church shoes.

I'd say he was good looking but not too much of my type.

"Excuse me" He tapped the desk.

"Yes?" I politely smile.

"I would like a check up for these two I don't have an appointment but I am willing to wait awhile"

"Okay perfect may I get your name? And the dogs of course.." I ask and look straight down at my computer ready to type in the information.

"Silas Garcia, the albino is Diablo and the other is Hades" he says simply.

"Ah okay..Do you just want a regular check up or is there anything specific you want them to check?"

"Just a normal check up"

"Oh these dogs are already registered here but they aren't under your name they belong to someone name...Rowan Salvatore..?" I say with a confused face.

"Yes Rowan is my Best friend he is currently on a business trip so He couldn't bring them in"

"Alright well..."

"Ms.Vald will be done with a pet shortly and she will be right with you, in the meantime will you write down some information for me?" I ask while handing him three sheets of paper.

He nods while taking the papers and taking a seat in the waiting area.

10 minutes later..

"Bring him by in two more weeks and then we'll be able to get the surgery done" Ms.Vald says to this nice old lady.

Poor lady her cat got jumped by 6 chihuahua's they tore him up but luckily they got him on some medicine and now they'll be able to do his surgery.

"Thank you Ms.Vald" the lady smiles and picks up her cats carrier "Goodbye Ms.smith so good to see you again" she waved before stepping outside.

"Mr.Garcia?" She calls.

He gets up and makes his way over to me and sets the paper work on the counter before making his way towards the back with hades and Diablo.
