"I'm so proud of you mal!" I shout from the seats outside watching Malik walk across the stage of his college graduation.

4 years back he finally decided to go to college to become a veterinarian and he went for 4 years now he's 21 and finally graduating.

I'm so happy for him and excited.

"Geez girl you gone tear something screaming that loud" Nova jokes.

"Wasn't nothing funny about that missy and hush I'm just super excited for him" I squeal.

"Mhmm I couldn't tell" she says sarcastically.

Nova a 14 year old girl who's sassy as hell and has two friends because she says "You can't trust every female you be around because at some point they'll snake you" and I agree with her 100%.

Left one tiny detail out she also has a girlfriend! They're cute or whatever.

"You know what I'm going to ignore you, you're not going to ruin my day"

"We can all tell, you're happier than me and it's my graduation" he pointed.

"Well get more excited then" I sassed back before turning around to scold Nova as I seen her mock me from the corner of my eye.

"Congratulations papa" His boyfriend of 2 years smiled walking up to him.

"Thank youu" he drug out smiling shyly.

"Mhmm" he hummed pressing a kids to his timple.

"Aww, y'all so disgusting" Nova mugged pulling up her saggy baggy jeans.

"Stop hating li' mama" Prince laughed.

"Man ain't nobody hatin'" she mugged.

"We'll meet y'all at the restaurant, let me get her mean ass on" I laughed causing them to snicker as she still stood there with a mug.

"C'mon girl Rowan said he there already he just waiting on us, and I wanna see my babbyyyy" I sung walking towards my new Mercedes-Benz AMG.

Rowan got it for me a week ago as an apology for running over my baby chicken with his big ass GMC truck. I had just found that baby chick on the side of the rode and he ran it over an hour later.

"That baby don't miss you" Nova said dryly causing me to roll my eyes and buck at her as I opened her door and shut it behind her.

"You know, I hope ya lil girlfriend fix yo attitude, cause you so bitter" I said starting up the car.

"Mannn, Raya is not my girlfriend she's just a friend.." she mumbled playing with her twist.

"Oh really? Awl that girl was so sweet I like her lil outfits too, her lil pink skirts and stuff she so pretty" I ranted.

"Okay Alheri" she huffed crossing her arms.

"Finally y'all here gah I was about to order without y'all" Nova fussed as Prince and Malik walked to our table.

"Stop it Nova that's mean" Raya said softly tapping Nova's shoulder.

"Whatever" she rolled her eyes.

"Chilee, anyway come sit down mal" I said tapping the seat next to me.

He sat down next to me as Prince sat across from him next to Rowan.

"Here you go Mal" Rowan smiled handing him 5 bands.

My eyes widen and I sigh glaring at Rowan.

"Boy I told you not too give him that much"

"Hes grown Al, plus he just graduated it's a reward" He tries to reason.

"That's stuff too much" I huff.

"Alheri, you make what? 20 bands a day now? 5 bands is nothing" Mal rolled his eyes.

"That's different though, I own my own business now so-"

"So, you can get that easily I just graduated this is my first time ever getting anything over 200, let me enjoy this okay? This'll probably be gone by next week anyway" he says all in one breath.

"Exactly! You don't know how to sav-"

"Al! Let him live, stop giving him the mother speech please!" Rowan sighed while rubbing his temple clearly annoyed.

"I'm just trying to help, he needs to start saving early so that he'll be able to have as much money as he wants" I try to explain.

"Sis, I know you mean well but just for today can you let me enjoy this, please? After today if I even still have all this you can scold me or whatever, yeah?"

"Bu- ah, okay fine whatever Mal" I smiled small as he excitedly bounced in his chair.

"Ouuu! The first thing I'm about to buy is robux!" He shouted.

I bit my bottom lip trying not to fuss over it and trying to just be happy that he's happy.

"And you call me childish?" Nova scoffed.

"Oh hush girl, you just mad  about to be able to afford headless this year" he snickered.

"Fuck you Malik!" She shouted standing up and picking up a bread ready to throw it at Malik.

"NOVA SMITH!" I raised my voice glaring at her as she smiled sheepishly putting the bread down and sitting in her seat.

"Y'all are so ghetto" Prince commented while Rowan agreed.

"It's cause we black huh?" Me and Malik said staring at the two watching them chuckle and shake their heads.
