Its been two weeks since me and Mama J went to the store to buy a pregnancy test. The test came back positive but I wanted to be sure it's really true, that's why me and mama J are here at the clinic.
"Ohh! I'm so excited!" Mama J squeals in her seat not being able to contain her happiness.
"Calm down Mama you know sometimes the tests are wrong"
"Girl be for real" she scoffs while turning back and bouncing slightly in her set making me chuckle.
"Alheri smith?" The doctor calls.
"Here!" Mama j jumps up before I could get a word out.
"Calm down Mama j" I chuckle as she rushes me to get up.
Walking into the room I take a seat on the small bed as mama J happily sits in the chair. The doctor starts to do a basic check up on my heart beat, breathing etc and says my real doctor (dr.Vic) will be with me in a second.
"I'm so nervous" I sigh out while fiddling with my finger nails.
"Remember what I told you, it'll be fine trust me" she smiles.
"Okay, you say that but what if Owen thinks differently? What if he doesn't even want a Child right now" I rant as I start to overthink as always.
"Are you crazy? That boy was stalking you at first putting camera in your teddy bears and all, and d you really think he'd leave you?" She scoffs.
"I-"
"Ain't no "I" you know damn well that man ain't going nowhere so stop it"
"Okay, okay you're right" I nervously chuckle.
"I know I am" she beams happily just as Dr.Vic walks in.
"Ah, Mrs. Smith how are you?" Dr.Vic asks with a smile on his face.
"I'm doing okay, a little nervous but I'm fine" I smile back.
"Hmm, so I see here on your paper you're here to see if you're pregnant or not correct?" He asks setting the paper down at the wall table and sitting in the rolling chair.
"Yes I took a pregnancy test it came back positive but as you know some of them may be bugged or give you the wrong information" I explain. He nods his heads and grabs some gloves before putting them on.
"Ah and you must be mom?" He questions mama J.
"Yes, I'm mama J" she introduces herself.
"Nice to meet you Mama J" Dr.Vic winks.
"Unt un, Dr.j Mama bear Is taken and her man is crazy" I warn as mama J chuckles and he nods his head in understanding with a slight smile.
"Okay mama will you wait outside for me? And Alheri are you ready?" He questions while popping his gloves on.
I nod my head still slightly nervous and look towards the door where Mama J stands giving me a reassuring smile.

"Test results are back" Dr. Vic smiles as he walks in making Mama J jump up and grab the papers before he could get a word out.
"YES! It says you're pregnant!" She squeals coming up and pulling me into a tight hug.
I instantly hugged her back burying my face in her neck trying not to let out a cry.
"Ohh, it'll be okay honey I promise" she says while rubbing my back.
Pulling away I look at Dr.Vic as he eyes Mama j before clearing his throat and telling me my other options which Mama J quickly denied them all saying "we were keeping it" after all the talking he gave me a paper telling me to go ti the front desk and schedule my next appointment.

Me and mama J are now sitting outside the house.
"Okay, I'm not telling him just yet I want it to be a surprise so please Mama no offense by the way do not run your mouth!" I say seriously.
"Okay! Pinky promise" she agrees still rocking in the seat like a big ass child.
"You're so extra" I laugh while winding our pinky's together.
Turning the car off me and Mama stepped out the car together and walked up to the front door, I looked at her through the corner of my eye seeing as she had a huge smile on her face.
"Mama! Stop you're glowing with that big ass smile, you're gonna get us caught" I whisper yell at her.
"I just can't contain my excitement" she squeals before trying to get herself together.
"Yeah I can tell.." I whisper to myself.
"The hell yall doing standing out here?" Malik says from behind us.
"Damnit Mal! You scared the shit outta me!" I gasp while glaring at him.
"Hey, y'all the ones standing out here talking to y'all selves" he chuckles before walking past us both and going into the house.
"Wellppp I'll see you inside pretty lady" Mama J smiles before going in next.
Taking a deep breath I finally got myself together and went inside the house, just to be met with an awful smell.
