9- how to be clumsy

Jimin was called to the principal's office (but that's not anything surprising) as soon as he arrived to school on Monday morning. How the principal knew he was there? He doesn't know. But with a roll of his eyes, he made his way to the office.

It was about orientation for Yoongi's pack land. Apparently, there's one being held in the afternoon, just before lunch. The principal explained that all new volunteers had to meet at his office before leaving the school to visit the pack lands. There were only six people including Jimin and he found out that Jeongguk was coming as well. Lunch would also be included at the pack land.

When Jimin told his father about the program, he was overjoyed. He's never been to a pack either and thought that it was a great opportunity for Jimin to earn more credits to graduate. Plus, he found out Jeongguk was coming so he wanted the two to bond more.

Jimin wasn't exactly excited about that but he didn't show it. Jeongguk had explained to him that he'd been to the pack lands before and that Yoongi's pack is huge. But because the boy is unmated, Yoongi doesn't want him around too many of his pack mates. It's not that they're creepy or perverted, but more so that he's protective over Jeongguk and doesn't want the boy to be bombarded by the many single wolves in his pack. They always get excited when they hear new members are joining.

Anyway, lunch time came around and all the members of the volunteer group were outside of the principal's office, including Yoongi who would be leading the tour. There was Yoongi's father, who Jimin has met before but didn't exactly leave a good impression on. When Jeongguk saw the older man, he hugged him. He's practically grown up with Yoongi so their fathers were close as well.

"Hyung, aren't you excited? The pack lands are so cool!" Jeongguk exclaims as he grabs Jimin's arm to get his attention. The smaller boy may or may not have been dissociating from reality because of boredom.

Jimin awkwardly allows Jeongguk to hold his arm. He forces a smile. "Yeah."

"Just yeah?" A voice comments from in front of them. They both look up and see Yoongi staring at Jimin with a slight frown.

Jimin shrugs, "well I'm not exactly jumping with joy."

Yoongi's father begins leading the small group to the parking lot. Jeongguk grins down at him. "You will be once you see the pack!"

Because there were only six people, the school decided to not rent a bus. Instead, they'll be carpooling with either Yoongi or his dad. There weren't any assigned groups so it was basically first come first serve. Jimin definitely doesn't want to be with Yoongi's father, though. It'll be way too awkward and he can barely stand the presence of his son so he knows he'll hate riding in a car with him.

"Alpha, can I ride in your car?" An omega girl, one that Jimin's seen before, asks Yoongi with a putrid pout on her lips.

He remembers her vaguely, when he first found out Yoongi was a pack alpha. She's pretty, don't get him wrong, but it was obvious she was trying to look cute in front of the alpha. Jimin had to hold back a laugh when Yoongi didn't even spare her a glance.

"Yeonjin, I told you, you don't have to call me that." He mutters as he unlocks his car. Immediately, his minty cirtrus scent attacks Jimin's nose without his consent. He fights the urge to pinch his nose. God, why do alphas smell so strong?

"Hyung, we're also riding with you!" Jeongguk annouces and quite literally drags Jimin closer to the alpha's car. Not like Jimin is going to fight him about it anyway.

Yoongi nods. His father takes the other three volunteers, a freshman, some jock, and another alpha. They all get situated in Yoongi's car, Jimin in the seat behind him, Jeongguk beside Jimin and Yeonjin in the passenger seat. The ride wasn't that long, just about 20 minutes from the school. Plus, Jimin basically got free entertainment from watching Yoongi fight of the omega girl's advances.
