.......

Later, after more shopping and walking around the mall, the group begins to disperse and go home. Each of them have their reasons, whether its to study or strict parents, they all gradually leave. Except for Yoongi and Jimin. The two were having a good time and didn't want it to end. So when their friends left, they continued to hang out.

"Wanna get street food?" Jimin asked and so they got street food.

"Wanna go to the convenience store?" Yoongi offered and so they went to the convenience store.

"Let's go on the bridge."

"Let's go to the park."

"Can we stop and get slushies?"

"Let's go on a walk."

They did whatever it took to spend more time together. And while they actually did want to go on the bridge and to the park and to get slushies, it was more fun because it was the two of. Together. And during this time, they learned quite a bit about each other. They joked and bickered, as they always do. It was a fun evening and they didn't want it to end.

So now they lay on the big red slide at the park. It was barely wide enough to fit the two of them but they made it work. They had already swung on the swings and raced each other down the slide multiple times. Now, as the exhaustion of the day finally catches up to them, they decide to just chill.

It's nearing midnight now. There were no stars in the sky tonight, just the bright crescent moon, just like the one on the hoodie Yoongi gave him. He sighs, looking up at the moon. His mother used to like going out at night just to look at the moon and the stars. They were at a park like this one day, watching the lunar eclipse. Jimin didn't care for the eclipse as much as his mother did. He wanted to go on the swings again but his mother made him watch. And it was cool.

It's moments like those where he wishes he could've taken advantage of the time he had with her. If he'd have known his time was limited, he'd have spent every second watching the lunar eclipse with her.

He sighs again.

"What's wrong?" Yoongi asks quietly.

Jimin debates on answering. Should he open up? Yoongi already knows a lot about him. It's not like its some big secret or anything. But this memory means a lot to him. It's something he can't ever forget. He doesn't want to forget.

"When I was little, my mom took me to a park to watch the lunar eclipse." He answes softly, still looking at the moon and it's beautiful craters.

"I think I remember the lunar eclipse. I stared right at it and was temporarily blind."

Jimin chuckles a bit, "that's the solar eclipse, dummy. Why weren't you wearing sunglasses?"

"I was like eight years old. I thought I could look at it."

"Well, you learned the hard way, huh?"

"Yup. But now I can stare at the sun for hours and not be affected."

Jimin scoffs, "sure you can."

Their mini banter dies down. Jimin admires the empty sky. It's beautiful. Not a single star in sight but it still shines beautifully. God, it reminds him of his mom. His heart begins aching. He doesn't want to ruin the night with his depressing thoughts but they invade his mind.

"Have you ever heard the myth that when people die, they turn into stars?" Yoongi asks him. He can sense his emotions.

Jimin shakes his head 'no' instead of responding.
