Chapter 16;

*Carsons POV*

Aurora and I were talking for about 2 hours. I found out some interesting things about her. Her dad had just got a new girlfriend, and he's been neglecting her, and telling her that she doesn't belong in his life anymore. So she ran away. She never would answer my question on whether or not her dad hit her or not. She would try and change the subject.

Aurora looked up at me with those pretty eyes, and said, "You're not going to make me go back there... Are you, Carson?"

It was still raining, and I was cold and just wanted to go home. I sighed. "Aurora, you're going to have to go back home. Where do you live?"

"No! You can't make me go back.. Daddy doesn't want me there."

I knew exactly how she felt. I didn't want to force her to go back home, but I had to be a little more forceful than I was being with her right now. "Aurora, go home."

She let go of me, and sprung right up to her feet. She stomped her foot. "You're just like everyone else! Always making me do stuff. I don't want to listen!" She tugged at her clothes and then ran off.

I looked out from behind the slide, and Aurora was no where to be found.

*1 hour later*

I walked through the door of my house, and I expected someone to be yelling at me, but instead, the whole house was quiet. All I could hear we're the fans in Makenzies bedroom, and the TV in Danielle and Tylers room. I slowly crept up the stairs, and tip toed down the hallway towards my room. I was almost to my bedroom when I heard a voice.

"Where have you been?"

I didn't want to face my consequences. I kept walking down to my room, and the voice struck again.

"Where have you been, Carson?"

I winced and slowly turned around. It was Makenzie. She was in her rob, and her hair was up in a messy, red, ponytail. She had no make up on, and she looked so dead and tired. I smirked a little.

"You don't expect me to answer to you, do you?" I say harshly.

She hardened her look on me. "Answer my damn question, Carson."

"I don't have to answer you, bitch."

"Stop being an asshole and just answer me. I'm concerned."

"Why? Because Danielle and Tyler are concerned? Why can't they ask themselves?"

"Danielle and Tyler didn't care. They didn't even notice you were gone. I just want to know why you ran off on me. I'm not in the mood."

Those words stung a little. Of course they didn't care. "Then get your ass back in bed, and fucking sleep. You look awful." with that, I turned around, and continued to my bed room.

I made it to the door, but before I could open the door, Makenzie was blocking my way. She pursed her lips, and stared at me with those evil eyes.

"Get out of my way, Makenzie."

"No."

"Fuck you then. I'll go sleep on the couch." I started hurrying down the hallway again, but Makenzie grabbed my shoulder. I cringed, and yelped.

"Be quiet, dumbass. You'll wake up my parents."

"Get the hell off of me..."

"Tell me then."

"Why're you so concerned?!"

"I have my reasons."

"I was at the fucking park, okay? Is that a damn issue? Can I not get some alone time?" I tugged my shoulder from her grip and slumped against the wall.

"Now was that so hard?"

"You're a bitch."

"I'm satisfied now." She went back into her bedroom with out another word. I glared at her door, and just wanted to punch it. I felt like cutting again, but Makenzie threw away my razors...

I got my stupid ass up, went to my bedroom, plopped on my bed, and began to think.
