Chapter 38;
*Carsons POV*
"I'm so glad you're okay, Carson," Bentley put his arms around my shoulders while I was sitting down next to Makenzies bed. She was still asleep but at least she was still alive. She wasn't in a coma anymore, but she's been sleeping forever.
I looked up at my friend, and smiled. "Thanks. I'm glad she's okay," I gently rubbed my thumb across her hand. "I just want to go home with her,"
"I know you do. It will happen eventually. Look at the improvements she has made!" Bentley smiled. "I'm going to go get something from the cafeteria. Do you want to come with?"
I looked at Makenzie and sighed. I slowly stood up and nodded. Bentley slapped my back in a playful way and we exited the room.
-
"Makenzie will be alright by herself, Car," We both sat down at a table and he began eating his chips. I didn't get anything. I was worried about leaving Makenzie by herself. "She's not a baby. She doesn't need to be looked after 24/7," Bentley chuckled and I honestly didn't find it funny.
Ben looked at my expression and stopped. He stopped eating his chips too, and looked me dead in the eyes. "So what do you plan on doing when you guys go home?" He asked, trying to change the subject.
Honestly, I've been thinking about having sex with her. You know, when she's fully recovered... That's all that has been on my mind... I wanted to make love to Makenzie before it was too late. I almost lost her a few weeks ago, and I haven't even proven to her how much I loved her yet. This time, I am going to make sure there are no distractions. I won't think about my dad.
Bentley cleared his throat and it disrupted my thoughts. "I... I really don't know," I looked down and started biting my lip. Bentley caught on and smiled.
"Ah. You want to have sex with her?"
I looked at him, confused. "How did you-"
"I can tell. You get this look on your face that I used to get when I thought about that stuff. It's nothing to be ashamed of. Actually, I encourage it,"
"You do?"
"Yes,"
"We don't have a place to do it at..." I admitted.
"Not a problem. You guys can do it at the house. I'll give you the key to my bedroom, and I'll make sure no one disturbs you. Sound good?" His face lightened up, and I smirked.
"Thanks," I felt myself blushing lightly, and I hated it.
-
"Makenzie! You're up!" I lightly and ran over to hug her gently. She was standing up, trying to get out of the hospital clothing. The doctor glanced at me, and placed a hand on my shoulder.
"You guys can go home now. She's recovered but I would watch her for a few more days. I gave her medicine for her to take for the pain, and make sure she has it twice a day," The doctor looked towards Makenzie. "Be good and don't be so stubborn," he left the room.
Makenzie and I were alone, and she seemed uncomfortable. I let go of her, and kissed her cheek. "I've missed you," she said, and laced her hand with mine.
"I've missed you too,"
"I woke up, and you weren't there..."
I shifted uncomfortably. "Sorry... I was in the cafeteria getting lunch with Bentley..."
