___________

January 1995

You don't have to love me
You don't even have to like me
But you will respect me

Do you know why? 'Cause I'm a boss

Watch that thing go, uh, uh
Watch that thing go, uh, uh
Watch that thing go, uh, uh
Watch that thing go, uh, uh

I'm bossy
I'm the first girl to scream on a track
I switched up the beat of the drum
That's right I brought all the boys to the yard
And that's right, I'm the one that's tattooed on his arm

I'm bossy
I'm the bitch you'll love to hate
I'm the chick that's raised the stake
I told young Stunna he should switch to debate
I'm back with an 808 'cause I'm bossy

My radio blasted from my $20.47 million car. I zoomed down traffic not caring about the pedestrians or other vehicles on the road as I nearly ran some people over splashing them with slush in the process and cutting other cars off. I grabbed my red lipstick while banging my other hand on the steering wheel to the rhythm of the beat. Looking in the mirror I opened it up and rubbed it perfectly on my plump lips. Not even a smear out of place with my reckless driving. Talk about professionalism. I threw it back in my Versace bag then swerved into the right lane cutting off some cheap Mazda car that was probably two dollars. I rolled my eyes waving as the driver called me the B word. Whatever I'm a Boss. And I'm not planning on missing my stop.

I reached my office headquarters and pulled up into my parking spot. Yes, I said my parking spot. Grabbing my shades, I placed them on my eyes and then turned off the ignition stepping out of the car. I grabbed my bag and then walked around heading into the building with my Louboutin red bottoms clinking on the ground.

"Good morning Ms. Darlington." The security guard greeted me as I walked in.

"Good morning Ms. Darlington." The receptionist greeted me as well.

Head nods to both as I walk into the elevator. Tapping my heel on the ground while I waited for the door to open, I had my resting bitch face on ready to face my employees.

Ping

I walked out fast pace as my employees moved out of the way, standing up and greeting me as I walked in. The fear and intensity that are shown on their faces and in their eyes as The Boss walks down the aisle makes my lip almost twitch into a smile. Almost. Head nods were given to each of them as I reached my office. My secretary knows to close the door after me and to make sure I'm not bothered. Once I've sat down the employees scramble and get back to work. You see since I left LA and moved back to Canada. I've been building an empire for myself.
