Part 16 - I vow to fiercely love you

Bucky pulled Willow away from the others. They were all huddled together talking in riddles anyway. He could feel her trembling and needed to make sure that she fully understood what she was letting herself in for 'Hey, are you sure you want to do this'

She looked at him with so much trust in her eyes that it almost floored him 'Yes. If I can't get my memories back, seeing them through your eyes for me is the next best thing. I really want to try this Bucky'

Without taking his eyes off her, he called out to Wanda 'I think we're ready' this gained Wanda's attention and she moved closer to the pair 'Are you both sure you want to do this'

This time he did take his eyes away from her so he could look directly at Wanda when he asked her the following 'Are you sure this won't hurt her Wanda' he calmed when he saw the ease in which she replied 'Positive Bucky. It will be like Willow is watching a movie. It won't hurt at all. Are you both ready to start?'

Now it was Willow's turn to put all of her trust in Wanda 'Yes.... I'm slightly nervous as to what I'm going to be shown but I'm ready'

Bucky placed both hands on her cheeks and pulled her closer to him 'I'm going to show you one of my favourite moments of us. I know this was a good day for you so I'm hoping it's a good one to pick'

Willow takes a deep breath and looks at Bucky, there is something about him that makes her trust him implicitly and that hold on her makes her nervous 'Ok... I'm ready Wanda'

Wanda lifts up her hands wiggling them towards both Bucky and Willow 'Here you going guys'

Bucky's Memory

Willow takes in her surroundings, it's a huge building with sky high ceilings that have the most amazing artistry decorated on them, it looks like an old museum or a library and then she notices the people around her. There only appears to be Steve, Nat and Tony there but then standing before her is Bucky in a pale grey suit with an ice blue tie that brings out the ocean blue of his eyes and realises this is their wedding. Bucky had wanted her to see this moment in their lives

Bucky looked at Willow and stated the following vows 'I vow to fiercely love you in all your forms, Now and forever. I promise to never forget that this is a once in a lifetime love'

Willow can feel herself answering on autopilot whilst brushing the tears away 'Oh Buck' Wanda had failed to mention that she wasn't a spectator in this memory but rather reliving it through their eyes

Bucky continued 'And to always know in the deepest part of my soul that no matter what challenges may tear us apart we'll always find a way back to each other'

Brushing more tears away, Willow felt completely overwhelmed in that moment 'That was beautiful Buck'

The official marrying them smiled at the pair 'I can now pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss'

Bucky smiled whilst scrunching up his nose before cupping her cheeks and brining himself closer. His lips touched hers so lightly at first and yet Willow could feel the sparks right to her core. She moved closer to him because even with the close proximity they currently had between them it still didn't feel enough. His tongue gently licked across her bottom lip before she opened further and allowed him access. His tongue exploring every inch of her mouth and Willow gasped at the warmth she could feel flowing through her.

All too soon he pulled back before gently pecking her lips a few time.

End of Memory

Willow and Bucky just stared at each other in the lab. The feelings they both experienced during that memory were flooding all their senses and neither of them knew what to say.

There most only have been seconds that passed between them but for Willow that felt like an eternity . Slowly she started to come round to the sound of the others and Wanda had somehow managed to put herself in between them at some point which suddenly caught her attention. As if someone had flipped a switch, she could hear Wanda 'Willow talk to me are you ok?'

Willow pondered that question for a few seconds 'I think so yes. I mean yes, I'm fine Wanda'

'Are you sure because it took you a little while to come back to us. You still look a little pale now. I think we should just get Banner to check you over to be sure'

The whole time that Bruce was checking her over, Bucky never took his eyes away from her. She hadn't said much since being shown the memory and this worried him. What if he had gone to far with that one? Maybe he should've produced a less emotional memory.

If Bucky hadn't been overthinking everything, he would've seen how intently Willow was staring back at him. Of all the memories she thought he might share, the memory of their wedding wasn't one of them. Maybe to others that would've been an obvious choice but it genuinely hadn't crossed her mind.

Willow felt like she was waking up from a long dream and had only just realised how amazing the man before her actually was. The feelings she felt whilst being submerged in that memory were I like anything she had experienced before. She knew there was no point running from him anymore. She needed to explore what she was feeling.

One thing was certain...... a talk between them was definitely needed.
