As the morning light filtered through the curtains, Willow started to rouse awake. Blinking her eyes open, she looked at the man sleeping so soundly next to her. He looked so peaceful when he was asleep, as if all of his troubles disappeared once his eyes closed.

Moving closer, Willow noted how angelic he looked with the sunlight glaring down on him. His hair was slightly longer than the last time they'd seen each other and feathered down across his face. Lightly, she moved his hair so that it was out of his eyes and traced the lines of his face.

Everything about last night had felt so right. There was no hesitation in jumping in his arms and allowing him back into her world. He was meant to be here. He was the missing part of the puzzle in her life

'You know someone once told me it's rude to stare' he mumbled sleepily as he awoke from his slumber reaching out his arm to cover around her waist and pull her closer until she was cacooned within his arms

Lazily they both started kissing. There was no heat in the kiss, just comfort and safety and Willow sighed into his open mouth in pure happiness.

Kissing the top of her forehead, he smiled over at her 'Morning Sweeheart' pressing their foreheads together he pressed another light kiss to her lips 'How did you sleep sweetheart'

Snuggling even closer, feeling his warmth she gently moved her fingers across his arm 'Well I think that was possibly the best sleep I've had in months'

His heart swelled knowing that because of him, she was finally well rested 'Me too if I'm  being honest. Not to bring the mood down but are you up for talking today? There's no rush if you aren't but if you're worried that when you tell me I'll bail, don't. I don't intend on going anywhere'

Without moving from her spot, Willow sighed 'I'm ready. I'm not sure how I'm going to get through telling you everything but I'll try'

Willow jumped in the shower trying to soothe her muscles and relax. This isn't a conversation she really wanted to have but she knew she could trust Bucky with everything she needed to tell him.

Walking through the bedroom, she threw on some sweatpants and one of Bucky's jumpers. It smelt just like him and automatically that caused her to relax. Looking through the rooms downstairs, she found Bucky in the kitchen. Walking over to him she wrapped her arms around his middle from behind and laid with her head against his back

Stopping what he was doing, he turned around so that he was now facing her and wrapped himself around her even more 'I figured you might want a drink to help you get through this talk so I was just making you one' she hummed in response against his chest 'Why don't you go and make yourself comfy on the sofa whist I do this. I've already laid the comfy blankets out there ready

Smiling at him for being so thoughtful and sweet about the situation, she raised up on her tiptoes and pressed a light kiss on his lips 'Sounds good'

Willow had only just got herself comfortable, huddled in the blankets when Bucky walked in handing her a whiskey on the rocks before getting under the blanket with her 'Whenever you're ready to go sweetheart, I'm here to listen'

With her hands lightly trembling, she looked up at Bucky 'Am I that transparent?'

He placed a hand over hers to help stop the trembling before he spoke 'No. I just know you like the back of my hand and I always know when you're upset or nervous'

With tears already pooling in her eyes, she looked at him 'I love that you can read me without me having to say a word. That's a pretty nifty talent that you have there'

Reaching out to tuck a strand of wet hair behind her ear, he did his signature smirk 'I can only do that with you. No one else. Just you. But I know you're stalling and trying to delay this conversation so I just want to make it clear to you that there is absolutely no pressure to do so. We can take this at your pace. However long it takes'

Willow knew in that moment that she was in love with the man before her. There weren't any fireworks going off, or fanfares announcing her change in feelings but it was the comfort she felt knowing that she loved him and he loved her. It was home. He felt like home.

Sensing that she was off in her own world, Bucky lightly rubbed his thumb across her cheek to get her attention 'You're literally my whole world Willow. I know everything there is to know about you. The good, the bad and everything in between'

'How can you still be so nice to me after everything I've done to you' he heard her whisper 'Because I love you Willow and none of what's happened recently is your fault. You hear me?'

Unable to stop the tears from falling, she looked at him through her wet lashes 'You leaving was my fault. Why couldn't I see what Jeremy was like. You all warned me but I thought that I knew better and look where we are now'

Biting his lip slightly, his blue eyes pierced hers 'Sometimes you need to see it for yourself to believe it. No matter what we would've said to you, he was already two steps ahead and he knew exactly what to say to keep you close' rubbing her arm gently, he smiled the softest smile at her 'Are you ready to talk about it now?'

Breathing in deeply, thinking back to that night, Willow knew what she needed to do 'Yeah... I think I'm finally ready'

'Then I'm all ears sweetheart'
