Willow had enough of feeling sorry for herself. She's been cooped up in that damn room again.. locking herself away from everyone but the truth of the matter is that it won't change what she is.. a cheater.

Only having half of her memories felt like a jigsaw puzzle with pieces missing. Never feeling quite complete. There had to be a way of getting her memories back and she knew just who to ask

Tony and Bruce both looked up when they saw Willow barrelling through the lab door but Tony was the first one to speak 'Well look who finally stopped hiding out in their room'

Bruce interrupted before she could respond 'I think what Tony is trying to say is that it's nice to see you up and about roaming the compound again'

'Thank you Bruce although I happen to know that Tony only used that level of sarcasm on the ones that he loves'

Tony gave her a lopsided grin 'So what did Barnes do this time to cause you to lock yourself away again'

'He didn't do anything except to tell me the truth' Tony looked at her half amused 'So let me get this straight. You are mad at him because he was honest with you? That doesn't even make any sense'

Willow rolled her eyes knowing how much Tony hates it when she does that 'I'm not mad at him. I just really need to get my memories back. I can't live in this weird limbo anymore knowing that there are these huge important chunks of my life missing. There must be something that you and Banner can do to help'

Bruce smiled sympathetically at her 'Willow.. The brain is such a difficult one to fathom. It's so intricate and delicate. It's just not that easy to break through and summon back memories'

'Please Bruce there must be something that you can do. I can't keep living like this'

Tony wrapped one arm around Willows shoulders in the hope of bringing her some comfort 'Come on Banner you must know someone or something that might be able to help'

'Do you think I have a list of people on speed dial. I've already spoken to Strange in the hope that he might be able to help but he said there was nothing he could do'

'Wait who is this Strange guy' Willow asked inquisitively 'He's like this magical doctor, wizard person. Honestly it's a bit freaky and I don't understand what he's talking about half the time but my money would've been on him being able to help'

'I'm sure he'll love the nickname and the description you've given him Tony but I think I have another idea' Bruce states matter of factly 'Jarvis can you call Wanda down to the lab'

'Wanda is the one that can do things with her mind and other peoples minds right? Do you think she can help'

'Help with what exactly' everyone jumped upon hearing Wanda

'Do you think you can dig into my mind and retrieve my memories. You are quite possibly the only one who can help with this'

'Willow.. I can do it but I highly recommend..' stopping Wanda before she could finish that sentence, Willow spoke up 'I don't want to hear any buts Wanda. Please.. if you think you can help then I need you to do this for me'

Wanda looked at Willow seeing for the first time how the accident and the aftermath had taken its toll on her. She looked younger than her years now, more unsure of herself and broken 'Ok Willow. I'll do it'

Tony watches as Willow keeps pacing across the floor 'What can I do to help?'

The intrusion allowed her to stop and look around the room at all the worried faces 'You can all stop hovering and looking so worried. It's making me nervous'

Tony wrapped her in a comforting hug 'I just want to make sure that you know what you're doing'

'You guys asked me to do this. If you don't want me to do this, we don't have to do it today?'

'No Wanda. It's fine. It's not up to these guys anyway. It's my decision and I want to do this'

Bruce pulled Wanda slightly away from the other two 'Look I know you've done this before but you've never done this with someone that has a brain injury to the extent that Willow does'

Watching how protective everyone was with Willow filled Wanda with sadness that she no longer had her family looking out for her in the same way 'You can trust me Bruce. I'll stop if I face any resistance'

'You guys know that I can hear you right? I think it's sweet that you're all looking out for me but it's really not up to the green giant or the tin man as to whether I do this. I understand the risks Wanda and I still want to do it'

'Ok then Willow. I'm going to start but you can ask me to stop at anytime ok?' Holding back the nerves she was feeling, Willow nodded at Wanda to continue.

Willow could feel the resistance and Wanda trying to push through but nothing was happening. The memories weren't returning and the more Wanda pushed to get through, the more her body pushed back 'Ahhhh this isn't working. Why won't it work?'

Wanda looked between her hands and Willow 'I honestly don't know. This has never happened to me before. It was literally just a void of nothing'

'Well what the hell does that mean Wanda. Can you access my memories or not?'

'It means your memories are gone and likely gone forever. Am I right?' Wanda nods in Bucky's direction before he turned to look at Willow 'You have some explaining to do. What were you thinking?'
