BOOK 2 "𝐻𝑢𝑚 𝑆𝑎𝑎𝑡ℎ 𝑆𝑎𝑎𝑡ℎ 𝐻𝑎𝑖․!" 𝐴 𝑚𝑜𝑑𝑒𝑟𝑛 𝑡𝑖𝑚𝑒 𝑠𝑡𝑜𝑟𝑦

A PARENT'S FEELING

Manda is busy with her kitchen activities, she steers the "Dosa" batter in a vessel and put a spoonful of batter on the hot pan, after which she adjust with the flame of the stove. She keep on observing the circular dosa changing its color from white to golden, and waited for it to get completely cooked.

KAIKASI- Manda..

Suddenly Manda heard Kaikasi's voice from her back and she turns to face her. Kaikasi stood in front of her, with a very uncommon expression from her side. Manda observed her carefully, the old lady seems to be ill or tired, may be she has not slept the last night. And how could she, after her elder son abandoned her younger son, how can a mother have a peaceful sleep.?

MANDA- you want anything Amma.?

Questioned Manda to her but didn't received anything from Kaikasi's end. The "sss" sound from the hot pan made Manda to shift her concentration from Kaikasi to the pan. While she started taking out the cooked dosa and was preparing to put the new one, Kaikasi moves closer to her and stood at her side.

KAIKASI- did.. Vaibhav called you..?

Manda got a pause in her work when she heard Kaikasi asking her about Vaibhav. She simply shook her head sideways in denial without looking at Kaikasi and continued with her work.

KAIKASI- en (why).?

Kaikasi's sudden question made Manda confused and she turns her head to face her for once.

MANDA- what why Amma.? He didn't called till now, but when he will feel to, he will definitely call us.

Manda answered her after which she again turns her head towards the pan to continue her work. While Kaikasi sighed feeling disappointed, it seems that she wanted to ask her further. She keep on standing at the same place, now resting her hands on the pavement and travelled her eyes towards the other side of the kitchen. Manda observed her doing that and hence she decided to ask Kaikasi herself.

MANDA- you want to say something.?

Kaikasi immediately looks at Manda and witnessed her doing her work. She took some moments to think what she exactly wanted to speak, after which she turns to face Manda completely.

KAIKASI- mereko Vaibhav ka bohot fikr horaha hai Manda.

Though Kaikasi's words falls on her ears, still Manda didn't react to her question as such. Still she was feeling a bit surprised with her sudden care for anyone other than Raghvan, a wonder as such.!

KAIKASI- Vaibhav khali ghar chodkar nahi gaya hai. He had a fight with Raghvan after which he has decided to team up with that Ram.

Manda motioned her eyes towards Kaikasi and this time found a genuine care of a mother in her eyes. The moist eyes of Kaikasi itself told her that she is really feeling some emotions for her son.

KAIKASI- aur dushman ka saath team up kar liya hai, yeh jab Raghvan ko pata lagega tab wo aur gussa karega.

Manda sighed hearing her concerning words. She put the spoon down which she was holding and turns to face Kaikasi.

MANDA- Amma, let me clear you. Vaibhav ne Raghvan par gussa nikalne ke liye Ram ke saath team up nahi kiya hai.

Kaikasi narrowed her eyes lightly, that's what she was thinking since the previous day. The fight between her two sons had kept her awake with the unnecessary and wrong thoughts inside her mind.

MANDA- we all are opposing Raghvan from the start. Vaibhav ne abb ek strong step liya hai, that's it.

Kaikasi downcast her head and release a heavy breath while closing her eyes. While Manda keep on observing her every expressions.
