A Parent's concern

The twinkling light of the silent night is not helping Ram to hide his emotions under that darkness of sky. The worried and tensed expressions for his younger son is quite visible on his face itself. His narrowed eyes, slightly scrunched eyebrows, pale face and those light tears at the corner of his eyes, gave all proves about the amount of tension Ram has gathered inside him for Kush, not only Kush but Luv too.

Neither Luv nor Kush nor anyone from the kids have been admitted to the hospital in their tender age, and this first time have made Ram to feel all worried. These hospital scenes have always made Ram to fall weak. Let it be Dashrath when he had an attack long back, or Lakshman who has saved himself in that crucial accident in Chennai, Ram has always fallen weak to face his loved ones in that condition. And now, its his son who has brought that same feeling for him.

Ram is all alone at the backyard of the hospital, sitting at the bench and staring at some unknown point in the dark sky for now almost a long time. After having that talk with Kush's doctor, Ram has went all silent, thinking about what the doctor is suggesting them- him and Siya, about the mental health of their kids. He is well aware about what the doctor is suggesting is not wrong at its place, he is aware that his kids needed him and Siya the most in their this age, he is aware about all the consequences which happened and which will happen or may happen in their life. But still, that unknown fear has covered his heart and mind and Ram is not able to have any stable conclusion for the same problem.

At that moment, Siya stepped near him, staring at him with her tensed expressions too. She is too undergoing the same feeling and emotions from morning, and now after having that serious conversation with the doctor she has went more worried for both of her sons. She very much wanted to have a talk with Ram, but she was aware about his silence and hence she has given him that space to spent his time alone and to think about the matter well.

Siya tried to gain Ram's attention as she stood at his left, staring at him and waiting for him to turn his face over her. After few seconds, Ram sensed her presence and he immediately turned his sight at her and both of them catches their worried eyes looking at each other.

RAM- come... have a seat...

Ram said with his silent voice and Siya silently obeyed him by sitting beside him at a distance. Ram has again noted that distance- that known distance between them. He sighed a little and went back his sight towards the sky for again and Siya keep on looking at down, waiting for him to start any talk.

RAM- had a talk with Luv.?

Ram's questioned made Siya to immediately turned her face at him and she nodded her head negatively and Ram shook his head for that.

SIYA- Kaki ka call aaya tha thode der pehele, tab Luv soya hua tha. That's why didn't disturbed him at that time.

Ram again nodded his head and Siya turned to face him completely looking at him with his folded hands.

SIYA- kaki bata rahi thi Luv ne zara bhi questioning nahi ki about Kush's health. He didn't even cried for anything.

Ram smile at her and turned his sight towards her, still having his arms folded.

RAM- samajhdar hai mera beta.

Siya giggles a light laugh and nodded her head in agreement.

SIYA- aap par gaya hai na.!

Siya's comment made Ram to widen his smile and he again sighed a heavy breath turning his head down. While Siya keep on staring at him waiting to have a talk with him.

RAM- Siya, if you want we can have a video call with Luv. Use bhi tasalli hojayegi aur hume bhi.!

Ram's suggestions made Siya to nod her head in agreement immediately. Ram smile at her, he knows she was waiting for him to speak this first. He quickly takes his cellphone from his pocket and started dialing Ratnakar's number through his WhatsApp video call.
