BOOK 2 "𝐻𝑢𝑚 𝑆𝑎𝑎𝑡ℎ 𝑆𝑎𝑎𝑡ℎ 𝐻𝑎𝑖․!" 𝐴 𝑚𝑜𝑑𝑒𝑟𝑛 𝑡𝑖𝑚𝑒 𝑠𝑡𝑜𝑟𝑦

A FEELING OF JOY

"Done with the conference. Heading towards another meeting now. Will call you once it is done..."

Siya reads Ram's WhatsApp message on her cellphone's screen. She uplifts her face to look at Dr Aruna sitting in front of her on the chair and is typing something in her laptop. While Manvi is sitting silently at Siya's left side. 

Both the sisters have visited Aruna for the confirmation of Siya's news. After her Home Pregnancy Test, Siya didn't wanted to waste a single day for the reconfirmation, and hence the girls decided that any one will visit with Siya and others will handle slash stay at home. When Siya told her about the positive prega test, Aruna immediately asked her for a blood test for further confirmation. Since then they are waiting for the reports to come, from past twenty minutes Siya and Manvi are silently sitting there in her cabin. Thankfully Aruna doesn't have much long patient appointment list today, and hence she could have other tests of Siya till then. 

Siya's cellphone again vibrates with another message from Ram. She was about to reply to him for his first one but before doing that Siya got another one from him, stating-

"If you're not feeling well, then do visit the doctor Siya. Have a check up by Dr Aruna if you want.." 

A soft smile crept on Siya's face unknowingly, and she tried to control her happiness. 

"I am already here and guess for what I am here...!!??.."

Siya typed these words on her keypad and before she hits the send button something stopped her. She recalled her own said things about the surprise she wants to give Ram on his birthday. She is not willing to tell him this great news on call or through message. Siya wants to witness his reaction, she wants to feel his emotions at the time when Ram will get to know that he is going to be a father. 

Siya pressed the backspace button on her keypad and erased the entire message she had written and replaced it by-

"Okay I will. You don't worry I am better Ram.."

Sending this message followed by a kiss emoticon, Siya heavied a happy breath and turns to look at Manvi for once. Both the girls exchange some eye conversation, where Manvi asked her the reason about her smile and Siya whispered Ram's name. 

NURSE- excuse me, doctor...

They heard a knock at the cabin door and the nurse interrupts the silence of the room. Looking at the report file in the nurse's hold, Siya's heartbeat skipped for a moment. She clutched her dupatta tightly into her fist and gulped her nervousness for all. 

ARUNA- thank you.

Aruna took the file with a smile and the nurse leaves the cabin. Meanwhile, Siya's eyes were continuously on the white color file and the transparent envelope attached to it. She observed Dr Arun going through her reports one by one, and with that her patience level was moving towards its end. Manvi placed her hand on Siya's lap for a moment, to calm her and Siya passed a light smile at her sister after which both the girls looks at Aruna again. 

ARUNA- so... Siya.

Siya automatically straighten her back when she witnessed Aruna placing the file in front of her on the table. She observed the smile crept on Aruna's face which made Siya to have a light smile on her own.
