Lakshman tried to open his eyes, he first scrunched his closed eyes a bit and then slowly lifts his eyelids to have a blurred vision around him.
From the past two days, he is been sleeping without having any sense, he is completely unaware about what has happened with his family and dear ones while witnessing him in that condition. The last thing slash incident he remembers is the deadly fight with Indrajeet when the man has stabbed him suddenly and Lakshman has fallen unconscious. He doesn't remember anything after that, he don't have any idea after that- not his brothers' cries, not his wife's worries, not his parents' shock and not his family's condition, nothing.
Lakshman took his whole time to open his eyes fully, after which he witnessed himself in the hospital room. He felt something on his back of the hand, and he soon realised that those must be the hospital machines attached to his body. As soon as he got his sense back, he experienced a slight pain at his stomach- his wound has got sutures which gave him a bit pain. He gulped his dried throat, he wet his lips with his tongue for once may be he is trying to open his mouth.
SHATRUGHAN- bhaiya..
Lakshman felt a touch on his bare shoulder, he turns his face towards his left side to witness Shatrughan standing at his side. Soon Lakshman witnessed Bharat moving towards his other side with his worried expressions. Looking at both of his brothers there, Lakshman felt a bit confused. He opens his mouth to speak something when his eyes falls straight on Ram who has taken a step near his bed.
The three brothers were in the room since long waiting for their Lakshman to open his eyes. After the surgery, doctor Sushen has informed everyone about Lakshman's out of danger condition. He has also mentioned that Lakshman will take some time to gain his consciousness out of the heavy effects of the medicines and antibiotics. And from that time the four of them- including Urmila, are busy moving around the room waiting for Lakshman to get up.
Lakshman tried to move himself a bit which gave him a sudden pain in his body. Ram was about to move towards him, but stopped his way in between as he tried hard not to melt down within a fraction of moment. He has determined to be angry on Lakshman, he has determined.!? Looking at Ram restricting himself, Bharat started helping Lakshman as he placed his left hand around Lakshman's back and with other hold his right arm. While Shatrughan adjusted the hospital bed with its position, so that Lakshman is able to sit straight to face everyone.
BHARAT- comfortable.?
Asked Bharat and Lakshman nods his head with a light smile, after which he turns to face Ram again. Both the boys stared into each other's eyes, as in they are capturing the pain the other one is going through- Lakshman's pain to make Ram to suffer and Ram's pain to look at his brother in that condition. A moment passed, after which Ram turns himself around, his back facing Lakshman now. He took his steps towards the opposite window of the room and stood there folding his hands and looking outside. While Bharat and Shatrughan turns to look at each other for once after which they turns towards Lakshman.
SHATRUGHAN- how are you feeling.?
Lakshman shifted his eyes towards Shatrughan from Ram, to answer his question.
LAKSHMAN- better..
Lakshman whispered the word and got a denial nod from Shatrughan.
SHATRUGHAN- tabyet ke bare me nahi puch raha hu. Hum sabko darakar aapko kaisa lag raha hai, yeh puch raha hu.
Shatrughan's words made Lakshman to feel like laughing, but he didn't dared to do that. Because of two reasons- the wound didn't allowed him to laugh and secondly the three angry birds standing in front of him restricted him to have a laugh. Lakshman bowed his head for a moment and streched his lips to have a light smile on his face.
