"Please open the door, Vergara."

Rinig kong sabi ni Simon mula sa kabilang bahagi ng pinto..

"How many times do I have to tell you that I'm okay!" I yelled..

"Can you just think that it concerns me so damn much." He said, "Especially since you locked yourself up last night." Dugtong niya..

Pilit ko pinipigilan bumagsak ang luhang hindi tumitigil na mamuo sa mga mata ko.. I put both of my hands to my mouth and prevent my sobs from coming out..

"Vergara?"

I composed and ready myself not to sound suspicious, I cleared my throat.. "I said I'm okay. Mamaya nalang ako kakain." I softly said.

"If you say so. Just don't forget to call me. Dito lang ako, I'm not going to work."

Lalo akong naiyak, he even sacrificed a day of work dahil sa akin.. Because of the email that my coach sent me, nalaman ko ang lahat and all the evidences that they found..

Parang paulit-ulit sinasaksak ang puso ko sa tuwing naaalala ko ang nabasa ko kahapon.. Mailap ako sa pakikipagkaibigan, but when I met Kelly back in Spain.. Everything seems different, she's the only person I let into my life.. I can't think of something that happened between us na maaari niyang maging dahilan para gawin sa akin 'yon..

Lahat ng memories namin masaya..

"Gigi, you're the best friend and sister that I could have asked for."

"AHHHHHHHH! THEN WHY DID YOU BETRAYED ME!" Sigaw ko at tinakpan ang magkabilang tainga ko, cause I keep hearing her voice saying that.. "I-I hate you, I hate you.." I keep on mumbling..

"I said I'm okay. Mamaya nalang ako kakain."

"If you say so. Just don't forget to call me. Dito lang ako, I'm not going to work."

Naisandal ko na lang ang noo ko sa harapan ng pinto.. Ayaw niya pang kumain, nag aalala ako lalo dahil tumanggi rin siyang kumain kagabi..

Naramdaman ko ang pag vibrate ng phone ko, kaya naman agad ako kumilos para kuhanin 'to sa bulsa ng shorts ko..

"It's Auntie Em." I whispered, dahan-dahan akong nag lakad pababa sa lounge bago sagutin ang tawag ni Auntie Esmeralda..

"Hi Auntie Em." Bungad ko sa kaniya..

"Oh thank God! You answered my call. How's Gilliana?" She asked..

Napatingin naman ako sa taas bago sagutin ang tanong ni Auntie Em. "She's saying she is okay, but I know deep down she's not.. Kaya naman po, I took off work today."

I heard Auntie's deep breath..

"Ngayong umaga ko lang nalaman ang nalaman niya.. Nasa out of town kasi ako and I'm on my way back to Manila, at the moment.. Simon please take care of Gilliana, I also appreciate you sacrificing your work for a day to be there for my daughter." Paliwanag ni Auntie Em.

"No need to thank me Auntie. I'm always gonna be right by her side."

"Still... Thank you Simon, I'll call you when I get back to Manila."
