Play Ball

*Niall's POV*

The music was blasting, and we were singing on the way to the park. Eleanor was driving, so we were all going to be okay. (Lou doesn't have the greatest driving skills.)

We met everyone near some willow trees, where they already had chairs and a little table set up.

"Hey mates!" Louis said, setting down our stuff. "Let's have some fun!"

"I brought a frisbee, football, and beachball!" Harry said, going in a duffel bag and pulling them out.

"FOOTBALL!" Louis screamed, running at Harry and grabbing it.

"Girls against guys!" Harry yelled, running after Louis.

"Do you play?" Liam came up to Megan and asked.

"In fact," She said, getting up, "I do. But, I'm not that good."

"Well then, are you guys coming!?" Louis said from across the field.

"On our way, Lou!" Eleanor said, grabbing Danielle and Perrie's hands and running after Louis. Zayn and Liam ran after them.

"C'mon, Megs." I said, running to catch up.

"Ugh, Ni! You know I'm not fast!" She said, trying to catch up with me. She was a couple of feet behind me when she fell.

I turned around when I heard a thump, and there she was, face first on the ground.

"Haha! C'mon, Megan! Get up!" I said, kneeling next to her.

"I can't!" She complained. "You'll have to give me a piggyback ride." She said, giving me a cheeky smile.

"Really? A piggyback ride?" I said, smiling back.

"Uh-huh!" She said back, putting her chin in her hands.

"Alright." I said, slinging her over my back.

"Weeee!" She screamed as I ran to the others with her on my back. When we caught up to the others, I saw Louis and Eleanor exchange a knowing look, but I ignored it and focused on the football game.

"Alright, peasants. You know the rules, girls against guys, first to six wins. You ready?" Louis said, holding the ball.

Danielle raised her hand, "Umm, there are only four girls, and there are five of you. I don't think that's fair."

"Well, then, the girls will just have to step it up, won't they?" Louis said back, getting fired up.

"Man, Louis, already getting competitive, eh?" Harry said.

"Ok, everyone!" Louis said, holding up his hands. "Liam and Danielle will flip a coin to see who goes first."

"Heads!" Dani said as Liam tossed the coin. Heads it was.

"Alright, girls get the ball first. The girls will be guarding in between those two trees." Louis pointed to two oak trees a couple of yards away. "And we will defend the trees over there." Louis pointed to two to willow trees about 15 yards away. "Get in your positions, huddle up if you need to, and say the word when your ready." Louis said, gesturing for us to huddle. This game was going to be intense.

*Megan's POV*

The boys were in a huddle, planning their strategies, so I decided to take control.

"Ok, girls, we are down one person, so someone will have to double up. Do you guys prefer any positions?" I asked.

"I want to play offense." Eleanor said, glancing at Louis.
