AHSOKA TANO

Following Saw Gerrera and his people, Ahsoka walked into the Rebel base. She unwound the scarf she had wrapped around her lekku as a disguise partway, allowing her to see a little better. She wondered if she had been recognized yet.

"Where are the others, the ones who shot down the TIEs?" Christo asked Lux in a whisper as the two of them settled down on one of the couches. The place practically hadn't changed at all — with the possible exception of some fancy-looking equipment in a corner that Semm would have been all over in heartbeat.

"According to Saw, they're cleaning up what they started across the Square," Lux replied. "I don't know who they are, exactly, but he seemed to hold them in pretty high esteem."

As Ahsoka sat down next to Anakin beside them, she looked over the people surrounding her. She didn't really understand what she was looking for until she spotted a pair of mint-green eyes belonging to a female body. She nearly had a heart attack, old, jealous memories surging up uninvited, before she realized that they looked nothing like Steela.

She breathed a quiet sigh of relief, and Anakin looked over at her. He squeezed her hand, and with renewed resolve she looked back up. Saw was addressing the Rebels.

"My friends, today is a good day," he said. "Today, we hit four Imperial Walkers here in Iziz, we shot down three TIE convoys, and now, we greet some old friends united in our fight against the Empire."

There were cheers. After the Rebels, who were clearly quite full of themselves, had quieted down, he continued. "Although, for their protection and ours, some of our guests don't wish to reveal their names, there are two individuals with us today that I would like you all to meet..."

Lux stood up, taking off his hood. "I don't believe I need any introduction," he said. The cheers turned into a veritable roar, and people crowded around him to slap him on the back or say hello. Clearly, most of Saw's soldiers weren't first-timers, and remembered the name Lux Bonteri fondly.

But after last night, she wasn't sure she shared the sentiment.

"I know that you have all been facing rough times. I know that you have all suffered, thanks to the Empire," Lux went on to say. "We have been forced to endure the same. So when I got the signal from your Commander Gerrera, I was none too happy to answer. So my allies and I assembled a team to come to your aid, to help you take back Onderon! Because it belongs to the people!"

He raised a fist in the air, and there were more cheers. As he went on to illustrate how he planned to help them take back their planet, Ahsoka felt herself zoning out. Thanks to the plan of attack that he had gone over with her, Anakin, Christo and the Rebel Troopers, she already knew what he was going to say.

She was worried about her and Lux. She was still angry, but she was worried. Anakin and Christo clearly suspected something, and Rex and Cody, who had stayed with the Troopers on board, clearly had their own suspicions too. What were they thinking? What were they picturing as an end result for a couple that had been married for less than six months... and was fighting?

She bit her lip under the head wrap, glancing over at Lux. As worried as she was, right now there was nothing she could do.

*Ahsoka is considering her marriage with Lux as a whole... But will they manage to put aside their differences and make up, as they always have? Or will Ahsoka's thoughts follow through to conclusion, and an inevitable breakup? You'll find out in the next chapter of The Unchronicled Adventures Of Ahsoka Tano!

I have ONE. MORE. CHAPTER to post, so I'm going to get on that right now. And hands up if you caught that Anidala reference from Attack Of The Clones about following thoughts through to conclusion!

Reconsider your life and the people in it as a whole and may the Force be with you,

Sharron

PS: The Onderonian Rebels don't know that Anakin is there yet. You'll see why later...
