AHSOKA TANO
A few hours after having woken up, Ahsoka sat in her room, dissecting a jogan fruit. The thin, crunchy pieces of bread made from kwhyen oats, a species of grain native to Cialone, smeared over with berry jam, was the main course. She was on alert for any bad spots in the fruit or burnt parts of the bread, because she didn’t want to find herself throwing up in the toilet again in the early hours of the morning.
She knew that there was no real reason to worry, but frankly, she knew little about the finer points of Human or Togruta pregnancies, much less so a mix of both. At least, according to what she did know, the morning sickness that she was experiencing was probably going to stop soon.
Taking another tentative bite out of the jogan, Ahsoka looked her body over. She hadn’t changed much, with the exception of the blue stripes on her lekku and montrals thinning out, which was normal for a pregnant Togruta woman, as part of the mother’s pigmentation was transferred to the baby. It was a mark of having had a child that most Togruta bore proudly.
But oddly enough, she wasn’t putting on weight, as expected. Instead, she seemed to be losing it. Although she could feel through the Force that her baby wasn’t undernourished, she could see that she was getting thinner every week.
She couldn’t help it: she cupped her hands around her belly. She hummed a melody, that of the one song that she remembered from her three years living on Shili, and rubbed her tummy gently.
Suddenly she saw herself, holding a little toddler, who was asleep, to her chest. Something told her that this was indeed her child, though she never knew if it was a girl or a boy. Lux stood beside her, one arm around her waist.
Every now and then, she would have images such as this one flash through her head, sometimes of her alone, and sometimes with Lux. But the baby was a constant in every flash she had ever seen. She didn’t know if they were snippets of her future, or just wishful thinking.
Suddenly the door slid open, and Ahsoka nearly jumped out of her skin. As Lux walked in, she masked the fact that she had been holding her belly again by smoothing her loose shirt down, and hunting for an imaginary piece of lost jogan fruit in the sheets.
“Did you lose something?” Lux asked, sitting down beside her. Then he sneakily wound his arms around her, planting a variety of light kisses on her left shoulder.
“Only my dignity!” she said, her earlier anxiety forgotten. She tried to free herself as he pulled her down onto the bed. “And I’d like it back, thank you!”
“Never!” he said, drawing out the last syllable.
As he pulled his little hostage closer, she stopped wriggling. They shared a grin, then their lips met. Ahsoka moved even closer to him, running her tan fingers through his dark brown hair. He ran a hand down her back, fingering her waist.
When they came up for air, Ahsoka suppressed a giggle. “What was that for?"
“What?” Lux smiled, and kissed the tip of her nose. “Does a guy like me need and excuse to cheer up his lovely wife? You looked a little down.”
“Yeah… I guess I was. It was just bad memories.” She closed her eyes, and images of Maul coming an inch away from cutting off her hand, slicing her green-yellow shoto in half…
Lux tilted her chin up. “Hey. Don’t think about that, all right? He can’t hurt you now. It’s just a memory.”
“That’s a lie.” Untangling herself from his arms, she stood up, and walked over to her open closet. She absentmindedly flipped through the different outfits hanging inside, even though she wasn’t going to wear any of them. They were all too revealing in terms of her baby bump, and she had started wearing near-traditional Jedi vestments to hide it, much to everyone’s confusion.
“I didn’t mean it like that, Socks–”
Ahsoka cut his words short. “I know, love. I want to believe that he won’t be coming back, but I can’t. A need for vengeance seems to be a common trait in just about every Sith I’ve ever met, and even though it’s been three months… Maul will still want me dead.”
Lux got up too, and walked over to her. She didn’t notice that she was crying until he gently ran his thumbs over her eyes, wiping the tears away. “It will be okay, Ahsoka. I’ll make sure nothing happens to you. I promise you that.”
She nodded, sinking into his waiting arms. Somehow, even though it was more likely that Lux would just get in the way and get badly hurt instead of keeping her from harm, she felt safe when he said that. She believed it.
Ahsoka was just beginning to relax when Anakin burst into the room.
*What could Anakin want with Lux and Ahsoka so suddenly? Will Ahsoka finally tell someone about her pregnancy? And what will become of the strange spirit that visited Lux early in the morning? And what has become of our other heroes, Amni, Christo, Rex, and Cody, and our villains, Darth Maul and Shima? You'll find out in the next thrilling chapter of The Uncrhonicled Adventures Of Ahsoka Tano!
Man, I really haven't had much time to write lately! But honestly, these two chapters were the best I could do in that quick hiatus I took. I'm starting another Luxsoka fanfiction that I'm debating on whether or not to post. It's gender-bender style. I'll see how it goes... And not to mention that I just got like FOUR OTHER BRILLIANT STORY IDEAS that don't apply to this fanfiction... *le creativity overload*

Well, it'll pass. Not that I know much about pregancies, but I THINK it'll pass...
