"Dont worry, Lerez is a good vet."

Niko said while caressing my back. We're here at his friends vet clinic. We brought Bald here for check up and Niko's the one who suggested this clinic.

He's still wearing his lab coat. Good thing, when I called him earlier for help he's just taking a rest at his office so he take that as a chance to help me. He immediately went to our house and brought us here.

Kaming tatlo lang nila ate Mika at Niko ang andito ngayon at naghihintay sa doctor mula sa emergency room. Kanina pa ako iyak ng iyak dahil sa sitwasyon ni Bald. Pagkakita ko kasi sa kanya kanina sobrang tamlay niya.

Sabay kaming napalingon sa pintoan nang bumakas ito at lumabas ang doctor. Sabay kaming tumayo at sinalubong siya. Nanginginig ako dahil sa kaba habang naglalakad patungo sa kanya.

"Your dog is confined." The doctor said at palipat-lipat ang tingin sa amin ni Niko.

"W-What happened to him?" I asked. She sighed deeply.

"Do you have other dogs at your house?" She asked and I shook my head.

"He's the only one." I said.

"Pinapalabas niyo ba ito ng bahay? Walking?" She asked. Nilingon ko si ate Mika.

"A-Ate." Tawag ko sa atensyon niya. Nilingon ako nito na may pag-aalala sa mga mata niya.

"Last week po pinalabas ko siya at nilibot sa parke ng village." Ate explained and look at the doctor. I did the same thing and waited for the doctor to talk.

"He has a parvovirus. Nakuha niya siguro ito sa mga nakasalamoha niyang aso nong inilabas niyo siya." She explained and my lips parted. I felt ate Mika held my arm so I looked at her. She's about to cry.

"M-Ma'am sorry po. Hindi ko po alam." She said. Umiling ako at suminghot bago siya hinawakan.

"I-It's okay ate Mika." I said and look at the doctor again.

"Is there a cure for it? Please help my dog. Please! I'll pay, just help him! Nagmamakaawa ako." Pagmamakaawa ko. I even held her hands.

"There is no cure for parvovirus. The treatment revolves around supporting your dog so their body can fight off the virus. Don't worry, we will do everything that we can. " She said. Mas lalo akong naiyak at nabitawan ang mga kamay niya.

"We will give him Antiemetics to stop vomiting. We will also give him antibiotics because he has a high fever and low white blood cells. We will isolate him from the other dogs too so that the virus wont spread to them." She added and looked at Niko.

"I need to go Niks. Aasikasohin pa namin siya." Paalam nito. Nagpasalamat lang si Niko sa kanya habang hinahagod ang likod ko.
