"Shuta ka te! I miss you!"
Alanis said while hugging me tight. I chuckled and caressed her back. We decided to see each other today. We didn't have a chance to see each other when I arrived here at Davao because she joined a baking show at Los Angeles.
Today is Sunday and we're both free. We are here now at the coffee shop where she works back then. The owner of this coffee shop is now her business partner. I'm happy for what she reach now, the hardworking student is now on her way to be a millionaire.
"I miss you too chef! Ang higpit ng yakap mo! Pero okay lang, lubos-lubosin mo dahil 1 month lang ako dito." I said and chuckled. Kinalas niya naman ang pagyayakapan namin at pinalo ako sa braso habang nakabusangot ito.
"Andito ka na, why not stay for good nalang?" She said. I sighed.
"You know my answer for that. Lalo na ngayon sa sitwasyon ko." I said.
"Grabe ka naman! Mag tatrabaho ka lang naman dito. Busyng tao din yun kaya for sure there's no chance that you two will see each other." She said. Right, she still doesn't know about it.
"Hindi mo sure." I said at humalukipkip.
"What?" Nagtatakang tanong nito.
"Hindi ka sure sa hindi kami magkikita." Sabi ko.
"What do you mean?" She asked again but after a second her eyes widened and her lips parted.
"Don't tell me..." She whispered.
"Yes, nagkita kami. Halos araw-araw ko siyang nakikita dahil kasama ko siya sa trabaho." I explained.
"Seryoso?! What happened? Do you explain already? What did he say? Nagkabalikan na ba kayo?" Sunod-sunod na tanong niya.
"Isa-isa lang pwede?! Mahina kalaban te! Kalmahan mo pagiging marites mo!" Sabi ko at inirrapan siya.
"I need an explanation! As in now na!" She said and I have nothing to do but to expain everything.
Nagsimula na akong mag explain at si Marites puro tanong pa din. Kaya para matigil siya kakatanong inexplain ko nalang lahat. As in lahat! Walang labis, walang kulang.
"And no! There's no way na magkakabalikan kami." I said.
"Meron yan kung gugustohin niyo! And of course, if everything is okay and fix. Lahat naman dadaan muna sa mahihirap na bagay bago maaayos ang lahat." She said.
"My relationship with Eryx is complicated but look where are we right now? I can't call it healthy relationship but keri na. Just try what Maceo said. Try and try pero kapag wala na talaga. You can stop." Dagdag nito.
