Kabanata 27.

Trigger Warning: SUICIDE

I am not sure if Soran was blessed because he could remember his past lives or not because his first life that I've just watched was not really something good to remember.

But I don't know what's going on with Soran's mind. Hindi ako sigurado kung masaya ba siya na naalala niya ang lahat o hindi.

Muli kong tinuon ang aking atensyon sa harapan. Soran's second life is playing right in front of me.

He was born in a modern world. He came from a normal household family. It seemed that he was living a normal and peaceful life.

He has a different name and his looks is different compared to his first life.

He has friends and family. He looks very happy.

Para bang hindi naman niya naalala lahat ng bagay na nangyari sa nakaraan niyang buhay. Masaya siya kasama ang mga kaibigan at pamilya niya. Ngunit tuwing gabi ay lagi lang siyang nakatulala sa kisame hanggang sa makatulog siya.

Napansin ko naman na sa tuwing mag-isa lang siya ay nawawala ang masaya niyang ekspresyon. Siguro dahil mag-isa lang siya kaya nagiging walang buhay ang mga mata niya.

Masaya ang buhay niya, iyon ang nakikita ko. However, it was only my perspective. I don't know Soran's point of view.

He graduated from college and got a job. At first, everything was normal.

Not until he uttered a named from his past life.

Liyira.

He cried the moment he remembered her. His wife from the past.

I felt uncomfortable seeing him like that. He looks vulnerable and fragile while crying. He looks broken and he looks so much in pain.

The saddest thing I realized was that, the wife he loves so much can't remember him anymore. Their life together, how they met and the happy and sad moments they shared together.

I can't remember him anymore. I didn't knew I was Liyira not until the Archangel told me.

I'm really glad that I've met him when my name was Nevie.

Now that I'm back in heaven, I am no longer Liyira or Nevie.

I fixed my eyes at Soran. He begun to search for me all around the world when he remembered me. However, it's futile. The world is really big.

He failed to find me. I knew this would happen because while he was busy looking for me, I was busy doing my mission.

I was not in his world because I was still an angel that time. He will never find me no matter what he do.

I don't understand why he was trying so hard to find me. If I could tell him that he didn't need to find me, I already did.

It seems to me that remembering his past life is more like a punishment. It was like a curse.

"Why is he standing there?"

Napatitig ako kay Soran nang makita kong nakatayo lang siya sa rooftop ng mataas na building. He is standing at the edge.

Kapag humakbang siya pauna ay siguradong mahuhulog siya at mamamatay.

Don't tell me he's trying to commit suicide again?

Hindi ko nagawang kumurap ng makita kong biglang tumalon si Soran. This time, he really did it for real. He really killed himself.
