THIRD PERSON'S POINT OF VIEW

"You found my wife's body?"

Nag-angat ng tingin si Narcus Kerzan sa taong nakatayo sa harapan niya.

"Yes, Sir."

"Then that means she's already dead."

Napahawak siya sa kaniyang baba bago niya tiningnan ang dokumento sa kaniyang harapan. Nakasulat doon ang buong impormasyon tungkol sa asawa niya.

"Yes, she died 3 years ago and her body was found burried in the border of Eryan City near the Madian City. We confirmed the body with this."

Matapos magsalita ng lalaki ay may inabot siyang identity tag at isang kwintas kay Narcus Kerzan.

Pinagmasdan naman ni Narcus Kerzan ang identity tag na hawak niya at ang kwintas na ibinigay niya noon sa kaniyang asawa noong ikinasal sila.

Nagsalubong lang ang kilay ni Narcus Kerzan bago niya isinantabi ang dalawang bagay sa tabi ng kaniyang lamesa.

"What about my son?"

"There's still no leads about your son's whereabout, Sir."

Mariin na iniyukom ni Narcus Kerzan ang kaniyang kamao nang marinig niya ang sinabi ng lalaki sa harapan niya.

Nine years ago, he married his lover who was a commoner against his father's will. He ran away from home and he came back later with a one year-old child and a wife.

His father, Narsimon Kerzan, decided to strip of his title as an heir to the Grand Duke position. Aside from that, Narsimon Kerzan announced that no one is allowed to call Narcus Kerzan as 'Young-Master', only the heir apparent of the Grand Duke has the right to be called the young-master of Kerzan family.

At first, Narcus Kerzan was fine with everything as long as he has his wife and son with him. He thought that after a year or two his father will soften up even a little bit.

However, it did not happen. After 3 years of coming back in the residence of Kerzan family, Narcus Kerzan realized that his love for his wife was not for eternity.

He begun to regret his decisions. His wife was so timid and weak. She did not make any effort to please his father so he can accept her. On the other hand, his son was also not acknowledged by his grandfather. He also felt that his son was very gloomy that seems to carry a badluck.

That's when he knew, he made the wrong decision. Marrying a commoner is like a bad omen in high society. The family will fall apart if one member of the noble family marries a commoner.

Narcus Kerzan thought that it was just a superstitions. A hearsay and a rumor without any backbone. However, reality proved him wrong.

He then decided to abandoned his child and wife.

He told his wife that it was better for the three of them to live together in a far away place. So they traveled from Zentral City to Eryan City.

After settling in Eryan City for one day, he then left without any second thoughts.

He came back to Zentral City in Kerzan residence. He only told his father that his wife went back to her maiden family with his son.

But the only reply he got from his father was a cold treatment.
