Khione Aloisia's POV

As the days goes by, I'm beginning to feel worn out and empty.

Even though he will be gone most of the nights, I have no idea why I am still staying here. Waiting for him if he will still come home.

He probably realized that I already knew why he was seldom around the estate, so he made sure to leave whenever I was fast asleep.

It was around 3:30 in the morning when I woke up because I felt thirsty.

Feeling the hand resting on my waist makes me sit up straight.

"That scared the crap out of me." I held my chest, terrified until I realize that it was Lowe.

He wasn't in the mansion when I went to bed last night, so I'm not sure how he ended up next to me.

"Huh? What are those?" I frowned when I saw what was on the desk.

A flower boquet with a letter. Beside of it, is a crossaint that I've been craving for days.

Please forgive me kung mayroon man akong nagawang ikinagagalit mo, kung nasaktan kita, wala akong ibang intensyon kung hindi mahalin ka ng buo.

Agad kong pinunasan ang mga tumutulong luha ng maranig ko ang tunog na dulot ng marahang paggalaw ng kama, hudyat na gising na ang taong nakahiga ron.

"Where are you going?" Lowe asked in a sleepy bedroom voice. His eyes are squinting trying to take a look to what I am doing even though he really looks tired and need some sleep.

"I'm going to get water downstairs." Saad ko.

"Let me get it for you." Akmang babangon siya ng itanaas ko ang palad para pigilan siya.

"Kaya ko na." Malimit na sambit ko.

"Can I come with you?" Pabahol niya ng palabas na ako sa pintuan.

"Huwag na, babalik din ako agad." Isinara ko na ang pinto bago pa siya muling makapagsalita.

Naubos ko agad ang isang baso ng tubig dahil sa kaba. Dinampian ko pa ng palad ang pisngi para masiguradong walang naiwang luha.
