Morpheus Lowe's POV

She's dating nobody because nobody can date her aside from me but the next I found out, she's already gone.

I was already planning to propose to Khione that day that's why I decided to fetch her after shopping with my mom.

Hindi inalintana at malakas na itinulak ni Winona papalayo sa akin. She stumbled back, making a mess, and items around her are dropping. If a male staff hadn't caught her, she could fall to the ground.

"She's dating nobody.." Pag-ulit ko. "that nobody is me." Emphatically stated.

"Morpheus, what are you doing?!" Mom came.

"I already told you mom, don't meddle with any of my business. Especially when Khione is involved." Mariing paalala ko.

Pasimple kong iginala ang tingin dahil kanina ko pa hindi mahanap si Khione. Where is she?

Mom glared at me indignantly and said, "When did you start acting so haughtily? I didn't raise an imbecile, Morpheus Lowe!"

Mother has changed after Winona and I separated. She's kind, cheerful, and considerate.

All of a sudden, she is always upset with me and never agrees with my choices, especially when Khione is involved.

"I knew it, that girl corrupted your mind. That girl made you like this, son!"

"Yes, she changed me into a better man. A man who will no longer listen to other people's dictation." At this moment, she is already fuming mad, "Khione gave light to my world and no one can do that but her." I turn my gaze back to Winona who's now crying, holding her elbow that hit the shelf earlier.

"No, you're lying.." Umiiyak na saad niya. Sa likod ang mga nagulong store items.

Imbis na sagutin ang hinarap ko yung isang staff bago inabot ang isang calling card. "Contact this number, it's my secretary's. List down every damage I cause." Hinarap ko kasunod ang bodyguard nito. "Bring her home." Tumungo naman ito.

Winona's bodyguard used to be my mom's. My mother insisted on giving him to Winona, dahil mapapanatag siya na may mapagkakatiwalaan na poprotekta kay Winona.

However, I am the one who's paying him so he listens to me more than anyone else.

I assigned him as a spy to report Winona's whereabouts, if Winona really has a connection to Khaos and is plotting something evil.

"Huwag mo akong ipapahiya, Morpheus." Mom reminded me before we went to my engagement party with Winona.

"Are you happy?" I asked Winona when I stopped by her table after talking to other investors.

"This is the happiest day of my life because my dream will come true." Inilingkis ni Winona ang mga kamay sa braso ko.

I smiled, knowing that Khione is watching us from afar.

"Chill, this is all part of the plan, right?" Aurelius' laugh is pissing me off.

During the whole event, I couldn't take my eyes off the two people. The Viltarin heir had hardly been separated from Khione since his arrival.

"Dapat pa ngang mas magalit si Khione dahil sa lovey-dovey niyo ni soon-to-be bride kanina." Gavriel teased as well.

"Hold your tongue, Leighton. " Gavriel zipped his mouth, still showing a smile. "There is no humor in any of this."
