Khione's POV

Kinabukasan, ang pagkakaroon ng crush kuno ko parin kay Carter ang topic nila maghapon.

Pabuntong hiningang napapairap nalang ako dahil hindi naman sila naniniwalang wala akong gusto kay Carter.

Those idiots will never listen.

"Why aren't you eating your breakfast?" Lowe asked.

I frowned before looking at him, "Are you seriously asking me that?" I scoffed.

When I am with these people, I would not get tired to move my eyes upward and make it round in circle.

Seriously, they are stressing me out.

"Why not? I'm just asking, what's wrong with that?" Maang-maangan pa ng napakabait na leader.

"Hindi kaya hindi parin tapos yung pagdating ng 'week of the month niya'?" I gritted my teeth when I heard Gav asked Zero.

"Don't talk to me." Pagsusungit nung isa.

"I don't think so. She's been here for a month and from what I know,  she can't have that cycle thing for the whole month." Keon acting serious, thinking about stupid things again.

How could they even talk and think about menstrual cycle?

And oh, let me rephrase what I said. He's not really thinking! Everyone here are not mentally fine. They are hopeless.

"Just kidding." Lowe smiled. "I like it when I see your annoyed face." He chuckled.

"Well let me tell you something, don't ever think about joking again 'cause you'll never be good at that." I said.

"Woah.." The other guys chanted.

"Harsh." Lowe uttered while holding his chest, acting hurt.

"Bakit ba kasi ang init nanaman ng ulo mo?" Aurelius asked. His smile is irritating me more.

"Please find my patience, I think I lost it." I mumbled as I massage my temples.

Saglit na natahimik ang lahat bago mag salita si Lowe

"You don't really know who he is." Lowe suddenly said.

"Who?" I asked as I gave him a puzzled look.

"Jayce Carter." He replied.

I breathe heavily, ready to burst out. "Let's stop with that topic okay? Move on people!" I grunted 

"He's not what you think he really is." He placed his two elbows on the table, wrapping his fingers to each other, looking at me intently.

"Ofcourse I do! He's a gangster like you." I pointed out.

That's the reason why he is at the UGB. He is the Rebel's leader. What's more to find out?

"Technically yes, but he's more than that." My forehead creased.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

Who is Jayce Carter then? Is he some kind of a god? A leader of a cult?

Oh God, what am I thinking.

"He's a son of another mafia boss." He said while looking at me, straight in the eyes.

I blinked, "He's what?"

"Son of Dragomir, the leader of the Knights." He said.

Knights.. well it sounds kind of familiar. Like I've heard it before. I just can't remember when or where.

"He was supposed to be the jackass you will be getting married to." Now, I am stunned to what he said.

So he's that guy— the one I was supposed to marry. That's why at first he seemed so familiar and I felt that I should know something about him.

And that's it!

I stared at Lowe, still speechless. I can't believe what I heard.

He's spinning the knife in his hands. Playing with it when it should be used for cooking tonight's meal. But I was too stunned to move and start cooking.

"He just chose to create a gang because he dislikes the kind of life that his father have." He place his right hand inside his pocket before leaning at the table beside me.

He looks so cool at the moment but my mind was really occupied and I need to freaking focused.

"It only made him a rebel when he learned that his dad wants him to be married with his associates daughter, that happened to be you but unfortunately, you declined the offer." He smirked and let out a laugh.

How could he even find this situation, funny?

"Well, I think that's enough for today." Pag singit ni Aurelius.

"I'm so damn hungry man." Gavriel pouted.

"Then go make something to eat." Zero backfired.

"She was supposed to!" Gav pointed at me. "It's Lowe's fault, kung hindi siya nakipag kwentuhan e'di sana kumakain na tayo ngayon." He said with a sad expression.

"How is it my damn fault?" Lowe glared at him. Starting to get mad.

"Totoo naman.." Gav murmured as he continue to pout.

"Let's go to a restaurant." Aurelius said as he took out his car keys.

"What?" Keon asked.

"It's the chef's day off today." Aurelius answered.

"The chef has a day off? Since when?" Nagtatakang tanong niya na parang bago ito sa pandinig niya.

Walang day off ang mga trabahador nila dito?

"Ask Lord Lowe." Aurelius gave his boss a meaningful look. "He must have like someone to cook for him." He laughed before walking out of the kitchen.

We arrived at an expensive restaurant. We did not have to make a reservation as they easily gave us a table. I do not know if Aces are powerful enough to be known around this area or is it because of their good looks that made the staffs find a spot quickly for us to dine in.

I saw the woman earlier who's incharge at the entrance. She was stunned to these jerks gorgeous faces.

"This place is good. The ambiance, the service.." Keon said while roaming his eyes around the place.

Masyado lang talaga silang gwapo kaya nagkukumahog silang asikasuhin ang order namin.

This is a Local restaurant by the way. We decided to eat Filipino foods for tonight but Zero is kinda picky so he ordered a different food.

Luckyly, they have other foods on the menu aside from Filipino dishes.

Lowe ordered Bagnet, Sisig and a popular dish called Adobo. Bourbon chicken, steak and braised leeks with mozarella and fried egg as what Zero requested.

Pero hindi kami papayag na hindi namin matikman iyon.

"Gav, eat your own food." Zero said completely irritated.

"Alam mo ba yung kasabihang 'sharing is caring?' 'Wag ka ngang madamot." Gavriel ignored Zero's glare as he continue to take foods from other plates.

"Steak?" Lowe asked me.

"Sure." I nodded as he put some in my plate. "Thank you."

"This tastes so good." Gavriel hummed while eating.

"Because you're a monster eater and everything tastes good to you." Aurelius shook his head.

We were about to finish eating when someone came and approached our table.

"Hey, never thought that I'd see you here."
