Khione Aloisia's POV

An hour later Lowe is still not coming back so I decided to roam around inside Pericoloso's place.

The leaves are designed inside to look like a forest. The whole place is square but it is big enough for the Lion to stay.

There's a path of grass on the other side of the entrance. From the inside I could see a wider area to roam by the lion.

"Pericoloso, Lowe really loves you so much. He even gave you such a beautiful and large place that definitely cost a lot." I said while still amazed at what I am seeing.

Why do I feel that my stay here with Morpheus is getting comfortable. My first impression to that rude jerk is slowly changing?

Morpheus Lowe, what did you do to me? I am known as naughty, brat and resilient lady but only you can make me silent.

I continue to wander around the place and there was a sharp protruding stone on the right side of the room.

I slightly touched it and was even surprised when I accidentally pressed it hard as it opens.

"Huh? Ano 'to?" I asked myself.

Inside the stone was a metal container and there were envelopes and some papers.

I was about to open the first envelope when I heard some footsteps and their approaching voices began to make noise.

"Masaya 'yon pre. Ano, call?" Gavriel's pleasant voice. As if he is inviting the others to do something or to go somewhere.

I immediately closed the opened secret metal container as I hurry to step away from there and didn't notice the lion at my back so he let out of a growl again.

"I'm sorry.." I said softly.

"Khione?" I heard Lowe calling me.

I took a deep breath before smiling again and walked to the entrance.

"How are you? Nagawa mo na ba yung gagawin mo?" I asked him cheerfully.

They are all look dumbfounded with my sudden question. Even Lowe seemed surprised to what I did.

"What happened?" He asked.

"Why do you seem so kind? Earlier you almost set us on fire because of your anger." Gav said in a doubtful voice.

The open mouthed Keon came back to his senses before he decided to talk again.

"Did something happened Khione? Bakit masyado ka naman atang masaya?" He asked.

I smiled, "Nothing. It's just because Lowe showed me his pet and it didn't got angry with me so it's okay, I'm happy." I chirped.

He look so shocked with his mouth open again as they all stared at me.

"Unbelieveable." Aurelius murmured.

"Disgusting." Zero shook his head.

"Both of you are not ashamed? You did it in Pericoloso's place? Ganyan ka palang tao, Boss?" Gavriel gasped.

My forehead creases to their weirdness, "I can't follow, I'm sorry. What are you talking about?" I asked.

"Come on, they have something terrible on their minds." Lowe said as he make me walk first. "Idiots." He spatted to the guys.

"Lord Lowe you sneaky bastard!" We heard Aurelius shout from behind.

"What are they talking about?" I turned and asked Lowe.

"Don't mind them. It's all about nonsense bullshit." He uttered but I saw him blush a bit.

When we went inside, he went straight to the kitchen. I was even more surprised when he took some kitchen tools and ingredients and started slicing and cooking.

"Now, I am confused." I stare at him. He didn't try to look back at me.

"What do you mean?" He asked.

"You're weird." I said.

"What weird?" He asked again.

"What you are doing is weird." I pointed out.

"How weird? I am just cooking." He replied.

"Exactly, as what you said, the chef has his purpose, so why are you there, cooking?" I probe his actions because I'll get nothing from his expressionless face.

"I want to cook."

"Sure you do. But you sai--" I was cut off by him when he turn around to face me. He looked like he was out of patience.

"This is my house. My house, my rules. Now, if you don't mind Khione, just sit and shut your mouth before I shut it with my lips." My eyes widened.

"You perverted j-jerk.."

"Oh so you really want me to do it huh?" He acts like removing his apron but I quickly covered my mouth and shook my head.

"Good." He smirked.

I just watched silently as he is cooking seriously.

I caught him giving me a few glances while smirking but I remained silent.

"People are getting weirder everyday." Zero said. He look at Lowe before continue eating.

Lowe cooked some Italian cuisines.

Parppardelle with Bolognese sauce, Cotolleta as he asked the chef to make the Gellatos.

"Take a deep rest for tonight because tomorrow the post poned gang fight will continue. Then we will take care of Don Vito's orders. It will be a long tiring week for us." He explained that others immediately responded.

"I want to join." I demand, not allowing refusal.

"Here we go again." Lowe uttered. Paniguradong sumusuko na sa kakulitan ko.

"Promise I will not be a burden. I will not disturb you." I raised my hand. "Sincerely promise." I added.

"Why not? Khione is also used to fighting. We have nothing to fear because she grew up in that mafia family." Aurelius shrugged.

"Her father wants me to take care of her. When if she get hurt and get some scratches and scars, Vito will kill me." Lowe firmly said.

"It doesn't look like as it is. I know that Khione has been trained since her childhood. Admit it, is it the father or you who are worried?" Zero asked with his serious expression.

Lowe immediately replied, "You like putting useless meanings in everything. Okay then, let's include her in the fight. And I am ordering all of you to protect her because you will all die if her life get in danger."

I can't help but to smile.

Lowe, Lowe, Lowe..

"Now I am sure, she's really a witch." Tinapunan ko ng masamang tingin si Zero.

A perfect guy to ruin the moment.
