"You're slow today," Juyeon panted as he broke past Younghoon's lousy excuse for defense to make a layup. He watched as the ball fell through the hoop and let it roll off, not too eager to continue such a half hearted game.

Jogging up to the two, Eric put his an arm around each of their shoulders. "Yeah..." he started, pausing so he could pull himself up in the air and swing in between his friends, "you suck today—no offense."

A chuckle came out of Sangyeon, the last of the group, before he teased, "yeah no offense at all but that's the worst I've ever seen you play."

"Thank you guys so much for all the kind words," Younghoon deadpanned before walking over to the bleacher to grab his water bottle.

"What's got you so distracted, huh?" Juyeon asked and reached out for the bottle when the elder was done, "You need to talk about something?"

"No."

Juyeon raised an eyebrow but decided to leave it alone. "Let's go out for drinks then. I don't think we're finishing this game." He proposed, the other guys quickly nodding at the suggestion.

"Eric—maybe you shouldn't come...you got so wasted lastime and got grounded for weeks," Younghoon muttered as he grabbed his belonging, beginning the journey out to his car.

"You live and you learn, Younghoon," the boy smiled, "I'm going to tell my mom I'm sleeping over at Sangyeon's"

"I didn't say you could come over..."

A wide smile formed on Eric's lips before he ran over to the elder, promptly jumping on his back. "Too bad," he spoke, wrapping his arms around Sangyeon's stomach and nuzzling his head into the elder's back as he tried to shake him off.

"Let's go then..." Juyeon said in an unsure tone, not too sure what exactly he was getting himself into.

"Younghoon, can I ride with you?" Eric asked as he fell onto the ground, finally thrown off Sangyeon's back.

Younghoon shrugged before mumbling, "Sure."

"And can I pick the music?"

"Sure, Eric, whatever you want."

"Are we going to the same place?" Juyeon yelled from across the parking lot.

Younghoon sent the younger a thumbs up before climbing into his car, letting Eric play around with the radio before pulling out of the parking lot.

"Are you sure you're alright, Younghoon?" Eric asked now that it was just the two of them.

Glancing over at the younger, he sent him a small smile and nodded. "I'm fine—just tired."

"You've been using tired as your excuse as long as I've known you. Whatever it is...you can talk to me—all of us."

A shaky sigh fell from Younghoon's lips as tried his hardest not to tear up at the boy's kind words. "I appreciate it, Eric, I really do," he spoke, managing to keep his eyes focused on the road in front of him, "but I'm still okay—really."

"I'll take your word then," he responded quietly, not wanting to make his friend uncomfortable by prying anymore than he already had.

"So..." Sangyeon started excitedly, getting the attention of his rowdy friends, "I accepted that athletic scholarship I was offered."

"Oh that's great, Sangie!" Eric gushed as he leaned over in his chair, wrapping his arms tightly around Sangyeon's shoulders. The younger's cheeks were a bright pink and his eyelids were suddenly too heavy to keep open.

Sangyeon only patted his soft hair and let him stay now he was, knowing the boy was already drunk.

"Thank god he was born into a rich family...because that boy loves to drink," Juyeon muttered before taking a shot of his own, wincing as he set the glass back down on the table

"He can't handle much though," Younghoon muttered.

A silence fell over the group as Eric took a quick power nap on Sangyeon's shoulder. That was until Juyeon reached across the table and grabbed one of Younghoon's hands, yanking it towards himself so he could see it better in the light.

"Why the hell is your hand all blue?" He mumbled in confusion.

"I noticed that earlier," Sangyeon agreed, only adding to Younghoon's anxiety.

Pulling his hand away from the younger, he shrugged, "I think it was from some kind of dye or something."

"How do you not know where it's from?"

"I don't know, Juyeon."

"Hey..." the eldest started before pausing to take a small sip of his lukewarm beer, "didn't...what's his name...Chanhee just come to school today with his hair that color?"

Younghoon quickly looked down at the table in an attempt to hide his reddening cheeks. "This...is from food coloring. Me and my mom made a cake last night—and we made blue frosting," he explained quietly, hoping by some miracle the two boys would suddenly blackout from the alcohol.

"I thought you didn't know...?"

"I remembered." Feeling his phone buzzing in his back pocket, Younghoon let out a sigh of relief before getting up and mumbling, "I'll be back—I have to answer this."

"Hey—hi."

"Hi," Chanhee responded softly. A small laugh fell from his lips as he heard the blaring music through the phone, "Where are you?"

There was a pause as Younghoon pondered whether it was a good idea to tell Chanhee where he actually was or not. "Uh...I'm at a bar."

"Okay..." Chanhee whispered, before taking a deep breath and hissing, "Kim Younghoon—it's a school night and not to mention you're going to get drunk and drive yourself home!"

"Listen—I'm not going to get drunk, okay? I haven't had a lot to drink and I'm probably going to leave soon anyway."

"Whatever. Just text me when you get home later tonight."

Younghoon quickly nodded as if Chanhee could see him through the phone. "Okay, I will, I promise."

"Are you having a good time at least?"

"No. Juyeon and Sangyeon wouldn't leave me alone about being off when we were playing today—and then they were just drilling me about why my hands blue."

A small pout formed on Chanhee's lips at the elder's sulky tone.  "I'm sorry about your hand being blue—they didn't like put anything together did they?"

"Don't apologize—I was the idiot that put my hand right on your hair that I had just dyed. And no...even if they did I'm pretty sure they won't remember in the morning."
