"Hey," Younghoon whispered as he walked into sixth hour, a smile resting on his lips as he slid into his assigned seat next to Chanhee.

"Hi," Chanhee mumbled, busy rummaging through his backpack for the folder and notebook he needed for this class. After finding what he needed, he looked up at the elder and smiled, that being the first time he saw him that day.

Resting his head on his desk, Younghoon asked, "So...are we hanging out after school...or?"

"Younghoon, I think you would drop dead if one day I just said no."

"You don't want to?" Younghoon asked, his voice getting almost inaudibly soft as the smile fell from his lips, "we don't have to—it's okay."

A quiet laugh slipped out of Chanhee at the sudden mood change. "I was just joking. Yes we can hang out after school, we can do whatever you want," he responded gently, trying to make Younghoon feel better.

"You're mean to me sometimes," Younghoon sulked, "but I guess I can get over it if we go out for coffee after class..."

"We can get coffee if you want to," Chanhee answered just as the bell rang and Mrs Park walked to the center of the classroom.

"Good afternoon," she spoke happily as she clasped her hands in front of her, "before we get started today...we have a new student joining us."

The classroom fell silent and all of the students turned to look at the new kid. Noticing all of the attention on him, the boy waved awkwardly, a nervous smile resting on his lips.

"I want you all to say hello to Changmin before class is over today, please make him feel welcomed."

"Oh he's cute..." Yeri muttered as she spun around in her seat. The smile on her face dropped and she pointed a finger accusingly at Younghoon. "If you tell Sangyeon I called another boy cute I'll end you," she hissed.

Younghoon's eyes widened at the sudden threat before he answered, "oh—it's not my business to tell."

"He is pretty cute, isn't he?" Chanhee muttered.

Hearing those words, Younghoon's head snapped towards the boy seated next to him, quickly clearing his throat, he grumbled, "I don't think he's that cute."

"He has such a nice smile," Yeri gushed, "did you see his dimple?"

Younghoon's eyebrows furrowed together as he listened to the girls words. "Shouldn't you be paying attention," he urged, pointing to Mrs Park going over a problem on the whiteboard.

"Shut up, Younghoon." The girl dismissed as she leaned in closer to Chanhee, the two continuing to giggle about the new boy.

"Are you in a bad mood or am I just imagining it," Chanhee asked as the two sat down at their normal table with their drinks.

Younghoon raised an eyebrow and shook his head, "No—no I'm fine," he responded quickly.

"So I was thinking..." Chanhee started, propping his head up on the palm of his hand as a small smile spread across his lips, "what if I got my nose pierced—or just more piercings on my ears."

Grabbing the boy's chin, Younghoon moved his head to the right and looked at the small gold hoops dangling from his ears. "I think you would look good if you got second piercings on your ears," he spoke softly, "but I don't know about your nose—I'm sure it would look pretty, but I heard it hurts."

"I don't think it can be that bad..." Chanhee mumbled, "you could come with me and hold my hand so it doesn't hurt too bad."

"Maybe I could get my ears pierced..."

"Would your dad care?"

"I don't think I he'd care too much..."

Chanhee's eyes lit up, "what if you got your nose pierced too?"

"No," Younghoon spoke quickly, "I think I'll pass on that one."

"You should take me sometime~" Chanhee asked softly, earning a small nod from the boy seated across from him.

There was a long stretch of silence between the two until Younghoon let out a dramatic sigh. Instead of explaining the cause of his sudden mood change, the elder laid his head down on the table, hiding his face.

"Younghoon," Chanhee laughed as he poked the boy, hands sticking out from underneath his head, "You can't sigh like that then expect me not to make you tell me why."

After letting out another groan, Younghoon lifted his head and frowned. "Chanhee—am I allowed to be jealous of you calling other boys cute if we're not technically dating?"

Chanhee's eyebrows knit together tightly upon hearing the elder's words, "what are you talking about?" Asked the boy.

"In class today—when you and Yeri were talking about how cute that new boy was and how nice his dimple was I...I didn't like you calling other boys cute." Younghoon stayed quiet for a few moments as he took a sip of his drink, hoping he wasn't going to completely embarrass himself with his words, "I know I'm not your boyfriend—but I just...I didn't like thinking of you with another boy—and does that make me too possessive...I don't know."

"What if you were?" Chanhee asked softly.

"Were what? Too possessive? Am I? I knew I shouldn't have said anything to you about that stupid new b—"

"My boyfriend," Chanhee corrected louder this time so he could be heard over Younghoon's rambling.

The elder froze, his eyes widening as he finally heard what Chanhee said. "Your boyfriend—as in us dating?" He asked, almost in a daze.

"Well we've been doing this weird not actually dating but going on dates but still acting like we're dating..." Chanhee rambled as younghoon listed to him intently, nodding with every word he said.

"If we're dating does that mean you won't call any other boys cute?"

"I think we can agree to that," Chanhee spoke softly, earning a quick hum from Younghoon.

"Chanhee, I'd love to be your boyfriend—not just because that means you won't flirt with other guys, but because I really like you."
