Younghoon dreadfully walked through the door of his sixth hour class and let out a dramatic sigh. He knew there was no chance Mrs Lee was going to change his seat, but he was still sulking about it.

And although he desperately wanted to be relocated, the highlight of his day was always listening to Chanhee and Yeri's conversations. He was never a part of them, but there was just something so entertaining about the two.

"Chanhee~" Yeri sang as she turned around and leaned on the boy's desk, "Can we go on a coffee date after school?"

"Why would I want to do that?" Chanhee grumbled as he tried to finish writing the equation he was working on.

A small pout formed on her lips, "I'll pay for you if we go..."

The boy finally looked up only to say, "I have a lot of homework—and you'll drag me all around town I just know it."

"I won't I promise. Just coffee," she spoke before reaching out to grab one of Chanhee's hands and linking their pinkies.

There was a subtle smile forming on the boy's lips as he shrugged, "if you say so..."

"Oh my gosh I'm so excited already!" The grin on her face quickly fell when she looked over and saw Younghoon's eyes fixed on the two. "Is there a problem?" She said harshly.

"Yerim," Chanhee started quietly, "leave him alone."

Another sigh fell from Younghoon's lips before he spat, "I don't need you to defend me." A few seconds passed before he added, "You two are just really distracting."

"Okay boys—practice hard we're up against one of the best schools tomorrow!" The coach yelled as the boys on the team huddled up.

The sound of sneakers squeaking on the fake wooden flooring echoed through the gymnasium as they ran through the plays. Younghoon inhaled harshly when he felt a throbbing pain on the side of his head and stopped in the middle of the court.

It felt as if somebody was trying to scoop his eye out with a dull spoon. Noticing the ball hurtling towards him, he quickly caught it but failed to remember what the next move was or what they were even practicing. He let the ball slip from his hands and muttered, "i need to go get water..."

Younghoon stumbled out of the gymnasium and had to use the doorframe for support as he lost balance. He'd never had such an intense headache in his life. A quiet groan came out of the boy as he held a hand over his eye, thinking that just maybe the pressure would cure him.

Younghoon thought it was a good idea to walk blindly through the halls; therefore, he slammed into somebody walking the other direction, sending them flying. "Ah...I'm so sorry, I wasn't..." The boy's voice trailed off when he finally pulled his hands away from his face to see Chanhee on the ground in front of him.

Chanhee quickly hoisted himself up and rubbed the back of his legs, "Do you not watch where you're going!?"

A scowl formed on Younghoon's lips upon hearing the younger's words. "Obviously you weren't watching either if we both ran into each other..." he grumbled. A few moments of silence passed before he asked, "Why are you still here anyway?"

"I'm in student council," Chanhee said bluntly.

Younghoon tried to nod, but winced at the mere movement of his head. "What the hell..." he whispered, trying his best not to tear up at the pain. There were many things Younghoon could pretend didn't bother him, but the one thing he could never cover up was physical pain. He whined and cried about every little ache in his body and this headache would be no exception.

"Is everything alright?" Although Chanhee wanted nothing to do with the stuck up basketball player in front of him, he could tell there was something not quite right. He'd gotten so used to taking care of Yeri over the years that it had almost become a habit to look after everybody.

A sigh fell from Younghoon's lips before he mumbled, "I have this headache...I don't know what's going on."

Taking a few seconds to examine the elder, Chanhee noticed the way he held a hand over his left eye. "Is the pain just over your eye?" He asked. Younghoon nodded. "I'm pretty sure you have a migraine."

"How do I get rid of it?" He asked urgently.

Although he wanted to laugh at the elder because he looked as if he was pretending to be a pirate, Chanhee composed himself. "The best way to get rid of a migraine is to just sleep it off."

"Is he being an asshole again?" Yeri asked as she walked up to the two and put an arm around Chanhee.

Chanhee waved her off, "He bumped into me and was just apologizing."

"Him? Apologizing?" The girl let out a fake laugh. "I'd never believe that," she spat.

"Let's go, Yeri," Chanhee said softly as he pulled the girl down the hallway.

After explaining to his coach the situation he was in, the man let Younghoon leave practice early. He walked out to his car and climbed into the back seat.

Younghoon grabbed one of the discarded sweatshirts on his car floor and pulled it over his head as he laid across the length of the seats. Of course he wanted to go home and sleep in a real bed, but he also knew his father would accuse him of faking it to get out of practice. It took some time, but Younghoon managed to fall asleep despite how uncomfortable it was.

I know these chapters have been very Younghoon heavy, but I just want you to understand how he sees the world and how he's treated by others.
