*the next morning*
Chanhee slowly opened his eyes as he felt something brushing against his forehead every few seconds. He saw Younghoon already awake across from him, his fingers twirling around in his hair. Noticing he had woke the younger, Younghoon quickly pulled his hand away and sent him a quick smile.
"Sorry..." he muttered, "I didn't think it would wake you up."
"It's okay—I don't need to spend all day sleeping anyway."
Glancing at the clock behind him, Younghoon laughed before saying, "it's only seven-thirty, Chanhee."
A scowl formed on the younger's lips, "why are you up this early?"
"I get up early every day—it's just a habit," he explained softly, "If you weren't here, I would have been up practicing an hour ago."
"I thought you used to practice after school—anyway the seasons over."
"My dad makes me practice before and after school during the season...during the off season he lets me pick just one so I usually pick the morning so we can hang out after school."
"Younghoon..." Chanhee whispered, his eyebrows knitting together out of worry, "you don't have to do that for me—you should be getting more sleep in the mornings."
The elder sent him a small smile before shaking his head, "I'm fine with losing a few hours of sleep a week for you."
"You annoy me."
"I do?" Younghoon asked before he rolled onto his stomach, his face only a few inches from Chanhee's.
"Yes," the boy responded flatly as he pushed Younghoon's face away from him and climbed out of the bed. He wore nothing other than one of his boyfriend's sweatshirts, the material falling to his mid thighs as the sweater was quite big on Younghoon to begin with.
After a few minutes of just laying there, Younghoon finally pushed himself up and followed the boy, wondering what he was doing. He found the younger in the bathroom, the door open as he brushed his teeth.
"Chanhee, you're so cute in the morning."
"Why?" The boy mumbled past his toothbrush before glancing in the mirror to see his disheveled state from sleeping.
Younghoon walked over and hoisted himself up to sit on the counter next to younger and pondered, "Your hair is all messy and you just look cute without any makeup on."
After spitting out the toothpaste into the sink and rinsing it down the drain, Chanhee only shrugged. "My face always looks so swollen when I wake up..." he grumbled as he poked at his puffy cheeks in the mirror.
"Do you feel okay?" Younghoon asked softly, changing the subject, "I also read on google that it can hurt the morning after for...you."
"You must be a genius about gay sex now, huh?"
"Chanhee!" He hissed at the boy's bluntness.
A sly smile rested on Chanhee's lips before he began washing his face. "It's not that bad—I'm a little sore, but it's been awhile," he answered at last.
"Next time..." Younghoon started reluctantly, "maybe I can be the one to take the lead."
Chanhee turned to look at the elder and raised an eyebrow. "We'll see...you seemed to enjoy things the way there were."
A light blush tinted Younghoon's cheeks as he looked down at his lap, knowing he did in fact show the younger how much he liked things the way they were. "Was I good? You'd tell me if I wasn't, right?" He questioned, hoping that he wasn't the only one that liked it.
"I don't think I'd necessarily tell you if you were horrible in bed, no," Chanhee started as he got in between Younghoon's legs, reaching up to wrap his arms around the elder's neck, "but I don't have to, you did just fine, Younghoon."
"Just fine?"
"The best," Chanhee said softly before pressing a soft kiss to Younghoon's lips, "why are you stressing about things, hm?"
Laying his head down on Chanhee's shoulder, Younghoon sighed, "I just don't want you to be...unsatisfied with the way things happened."
"What are you talking about?"
"I'm not good at things like you are, Chanhee," he started quietly, "I'm not good at taking the lead with anything. And I...I guess I'm just nervous that's what you want me to do but I can't."
Hearing those words brought a small pout to rest on Chanhee's lips as he lifted a hand up to play with the hair on the back of Younghoon's neck. "You're so sweet..." he whispered, wondering how Younghoon was the most gentle person in the world but managed to hide it with his cool basketball player facade, "What happens between us is just between us, yeah? I'm perfectly fine with who you are—that's why we're dating if you didn't know."
"I'm sorry I always make things weird."
"I think you're just good at telling me how you're feeling, Younghoon."
He felt Younghoon nod against his shoulder before lifting his head and asking suddenly, "are you hungry? I could make you breakfast~"
"I am hungry...let me get changed first and th—"
"But you're so cute in my clothes..." Younghoon pouted, "why do you have to change?"
"Fine—I won't then."
✨✨✨
The couple didn't have much of anything planned for the day at all. After eating breakfast, they found themselves curled up on the couch in Younghoon's living room watching a random movie.
"When are you supposed to be home today?" Younghoon asked quietly, not having to raise his voice too loud as Chanhee was laying right on his chest.
"Not any time specific time..." the boy whispered, almost asleep against Younghoon's body. It hadn't been too long since they got up that morning; however, Chanhee had a full stomach and quite a few less hours of sleep than normal. "I'm going to take a nap," he muttered as he cuddled further into the elder's arms.
Younghoon hummed and grabbed the remote laying next to him, turning the tv down a little bit before answering, "okay, I'll stay here."
For the rest of the afternoon, the two only sat there, Younghoon's hand rubbing up and down Chanhee's back as he watched tv and Chanhee fast asleep.
